why does this game allow high lvl ppl to attack low lvl pll?

I'm lvl 90 and keep getting attacked by ppl lvl 130+. Why does this game allow this to happen? I lose 350,000 in gold and have to spend 90,000 more to rearm traps. I keep droppin trophies but still these guys attack me. I'ts ♥♥. I feel like the game tries to force me to buy gems to improve my defense, I've bought enough already. They should make an update to keep these ppl from bullying lower bases. How can we advance in the game when lvl 130's drop trophies just so they can raid bases they have no business attacking? Please fix this!

1) Shouldn't have rushed.
2) Shouldn't have stayed in higher leagues with rushed base.
3) Shouldn't have kept your TH inside.

So you only attack people YOUR level/TH, not weaker ones?
All I know is, I'm a lvl 79 TH8 and I have a good time looting lvl 50-60s!

Level to strength correlation can be inflated, so dont judge it based on level.

Put your town hall outside I trapped, they should just snipe you.

Level doesn't matter, at all. Of course you are going to lose a ton of gold if you leave the game with full storages. Raid in sessions, and spend all of your gold before you log off, or alternatively keep a builder free for walls! Lots of high level players play in low trophy levels to attack silly people like YOU! Of course the game makes you want to buy gems, that's why Clash of Clans is the top grossing app and is a billion dollar company, because you've got hooked and addicted spending gems. Level doesn't matter, as I've said before, but there is a loot penalty for higher people attacking lower people.

What happened here is (I'm guessing) you upgraded to TH9 with some really awful defences. (A picture of your base and your TH level would be nice.) You probably have TH7/TH8 defences as a TH9, but you upgraded without realising that TH10s could now pick on you for 90% loot, not 50%.

Here's a tip: Max your TH level before you upgrade or you'll get bullied. Of course, everyone gets bullied by a TH above them, but by maxing your defence you have a better chance of not getting stomped on.

To sum it up, because you probably didn't read any of that:

Save a builder for walls.
Spend your money before you log off.
Don't rush your Town Hall or you get beaten up. :thumbsup:

I constantly get attacked by TH9s with high level Archer Queens. No way I can stop them. However I find it fun attacking them back, getting into the middle, getting their TH and their storages.

Can you promise that you will never attack someone lower level than you? You will have already.

Good that the first tip I read when I started is not to rush with upgrading Town Hall before I upgrade almost everything else.
I bought some gems to get builders and now the only reasonable gem usage is for barracks. It's pointless to finish upgrades or fill storages with gems.

Don't worry you'll eventually be that high level guy att them lower fellers!!! It's all come in due time the evolution of coc!!!

If he is lvl90 I dont think being rushed is the problem, because this means he would be an early th9 anyway. Rushing to th10 is not a problem defense wise because of the infernos and there are now th11s hitting now.

I guess it is just a bad base layout. Try to put as many point defenses in the core as possible, make a symmetric base with the storages evenly distributed and put wizard towers between them. Upgrade your wizard towers to lvl7 and they will kill most small troops with 1 shot.
Also put your th outside and place it in front of your outside wall to tank for attackers. Have it protected by at least 1 or 2 archer towers/mortars to avoid easy sniped with 4 archers, but dont cover it too much. An archer queen should still be able to reach it, so those players that can wreck your base do an easy snipe, while the th8s that cant, will have to use more troops so they dont start barching your mines after the snipe.
Place your de centered with cc and queen nearby. Dont try to build asymmetric farming bases on your own, because they will always have a weakness. The only thing you can do is loading one side more with traps than the other. In gold and below put your traps away from the th because everybody wants loot and avoids the th, on crystal place them on the side of your th, because everybody want the league bonus and will attack on the th side.

If he does that, nobody will consider sniping him.

There is no point at all putting your TH outside unless you want to be sniped (or are pretending you want to be sniped with lost of hidden traps, but that is another discussion).

If you want to be sniped, then you need the TH to NOT be covered by any defences.

First, as others have said, level is almost completely irrelevant and meaningless.

If it is costing you 90K to rearm traps then you are probably a TH9, but without much in teh way of high level defences.

If you are in Crystal or above, where the loot bonus is decent, then put your TH in the corner, ideally surrounded by decorations or builder huts, so it is obvious there are no traps. 90%+ of the time you will then just get sniped for teh trophies and loot bonus, and will lose virtually none of your loot.

If you are in a lower league, then a) try to work your way up to Crystal and b) try to spend your loot before logging off. And c) build up your defences and spread out your storages. Get those xbows built, get the Archer Queen up, make sure that to get maximum loot they will have to take out all your base, rater than just getting to the core.

Why does the world allow big animals to eat small animals? why do sports have to have a winner and a loser, just because one team has bigger and better players? Fix it! Gold star for all, good job.

And btw, be sure you are not attacking anyone lower than level 90 ever.

The lower you drop, the higher chances are predators like me will find you ;)

This. I won't snipe him unless I'm really that desperate looking for snipes.
I would rather attack trapped TH outside than outside TH covered with defenses.

The most important factor are TH levels anyway, you could just a TH7 in your 80s if you really active donating troops.

Dump your loot on walls so people won't attack you because there's no point on attacking a dry base :smirk:
