Gobbos

Anyone use them for farming.

Currently using them for farming elixir and seem really good. They are super cheap compared to barch after price increase on barbs/archers. Farming on gold 3 league with them, targeting exposed collectors/drills. Also bring some WBs in case there's a drill behind the first layer of walls.

Is 4.9 million gold/elixir and 9k DE good for a boost session? (four barracks boosted)

I started Dark Barrack level 6 upgrade (3.5 million elixir) to prevent elixir from over flowing.

9k de for a boost session is horrible but if you aren't focusing de I guess it doesn't matter much. Other than that 👍🏼

Yeah, not focusing on DE at all. Just taking any drills I think I could reach.

I started doing this because is a zero effort strategy. Just spam goblins all over, get some loot, then get out. It literally takes seconds. Then I can back to searching quicker.

I never bothered researching them cause I just don't use them at all, but whenever I get them as cc donations I notice max Goblins are much better (for farming, at least) than max Barbs. I might have to invest some Elixir and time on that troop.

cheapness in term of elixir cost but too much time consuming army.when it comes to farming,people go for less time consuming army with better effectiveness.goblins lacks both.

4 goblins takes 2 minutes to train. One giant, 5 spaces, takes 2 minutes to train. I just think barbs and archers are more time-efficient than goblins. I couldn't use goblins for storage raiding, they'd just get massacred by wizard towers and mortars. Plus...I they are only level 4 :p

I don;t get all that hate towards goblis. They are great unit! You just have to adjust your attacking to them. Clean up a bit before sending them out and they will earn you some heavy money in just seconds. I have mine on level 5, and I wish lvl 6 to be available at th9 :(

Yeah, level 6 ones are crazy good. :saywhat:

But even level 5 ones can are quite good. They can take a hit from level 6 mortar without dying, which makes a big difference already. Damage is also good.

Boosting barracks solves the training time problem. Unluckily there's no solution for the increased costs of barch (archers specially).

During a boost session I never stop attacking. Either TH sniping with heroes or raiding with goblins. It's non-stop two hours of farming. Even small amounts of goblins can get nice loot from exposed collectors.

Also one thing I like about goblins: They don't get distracted. Heroes? Skel traps? CC troops? Goblins just ignore all of it. And the speed, the speeeeeed!!! :cool:

Goblins are great for making holes in walls too . which leads heroes into the core better as well.

Plus if you come across a vaulted storage base drop a heal and a rage in it and watch the goblins take everything in a matter of seconds
