I'm confused how war stars work on total bio stars

People always say differnt things but now im confused

On my bio it said i had 101 war stars.

I used my first attack on a base that someone 3 starred, i attacked it and got two stars.

When i check back to bio it still says 101 but i from what people have said it should of gone to 103


So when you attack a base that someone else has already got a 3 star from, do the stars that you earn not even go towards your bio count? ://

You only get stars added when you add new stars to the war score

because the base u hit has already been 3 starred, there is no way to add new stars to your bio.

if the base has only been 2 starred and then your 3 star it (you added 1 extra star for your clan)
then you will get 3 new stars in your bio

You will get additional war stars appearing on your profile if you get some new war stars. For example, if #3 has been one-starred and you get 3 stars on it, then its an additional 2 stars for your profile.

No, actually you get 3 stars added. You have to increase the number of stars on the base to get any stars added to your achievement, but you get all of them.

So wait, you're saying if someone 2 stars a base in war, and I go back and two star it again then nothing gets added to my profile. But id I get three stars on the same base thats already been two stared, then it will add all three stars?? Any one can test this and confirm it?!

That is a lame system. The stars in war is an individual achievement that shouldn't have anything to do with adding stars in the war. Like if you attack a base that was 2 starred and you get 3 stars, 3 stars is added to your achievement. But if you only get a star, you get zero stars added on the achievement? Seems cheap.

Not to be THAT guy, but it says so in the achievement itself..."Score XX stars for your clan in clan war battles"

Right, I understand that, the part I am finding lame is that if it is based on how the clan does, you shouldn't get 3 stars added to your achievement when you only add 1 or to 2 stars to the war. If full credit is given in that case, then any star on a war base should add to your achievement.
