Yeah, th10 isn't that much fun. The offensive upgrades really don't compensate for the steep dps increase in defenses. I mean it is doable to 3* one, but it's a lot more effort than it is worth.

Is there anyone who enjoys the attack strategy of th10 vs th10 as oppose to th9 vs th9? I'm telling you- attacking th9 vs th9 is the most balanced aspect of the game... Three stars is possible every time but difficult. Not so at th10.
personally, i'd have to say townhall 10 is coc at its best due to the wide scope of new features as opposed to town hall 9. It's a great farming experience, you get to experience different attacking methods and I think the bases just look cool
I love attacking other th10s. I don't care about 3 stars, I care about the challenge. And it certainly is a challenge. Going in without knowing for sure if you're going to win the raid. The funneling aspect and dealing with inferno towers. The different army compositions that can be used with the different settings some players have with xbows and inferno towers. Tons to plan and execute, and sometimes raids happen so fast, it's exhilarating! I spent about 6 months as a th9 from when wars were introduced, so I didn't get to enjoy the lavaloon strategies that are available now, but I do remember the old hero lure, hog spam, holo, and later gohog style attacks after the giant bomb buff. Still prefer th10 attacking.Quote:

Then i hit to th 9 and everything became hard.. Then again i m on d way to max th 9.. And again feels like i m top :p
TH10 is all about handling the infernos. As many people have already pointed out, the defence gets huge dps increases. Combine that with the infernos and the fact that other than Pekka, you don't get much of an increase in offence. Then add in the fact that you can hardly see what is happening even during replays when your troops reach the core.
TH10 is probably the only Town Hall where I am enjoying farming more than warring. Infernos have killed variety for the most part, but things are unlikely to change at TH10. So, I try to use different troops from time to time to keep things fresh. Last war I used a 4 Golem valk attack (zero stars - silly mistake on my part - see the part about too much going on the screen) and a Giant-wizard attack (easy 2 stars as both infernos were single target) on max-defence TH10 bases. It was refreshing :)
TH9 was a blast and I tried so many attack strategies. I even used giant+loon combo for 3 stars. If TH11 doesn't come out next month, I will deeply regret moving to TH10 earlier than I needed to.
I think so. TH10 defense gets huge boost while offense gets nearly none except the PEKKA. Upgrades are expensive and take forever...war and farming are so much harder...lots of war strategies are killed...apparently loot is worst at TH10...takes too much time to get maxed at TH10...TH9 is just better in lots of ways. I'm staying here forever, and probs will quit the game when TH12 comes out, as TH9 will be too low lvl for it to matter.
