As a th10, I find it difficult to keep even these 5 chaps busy.. no need for a 6th one. Also, I don't think SC intends to allow us to finish the game any faster than we already do, and a 6th builder would shorten the time significantly.
In addition to what devil said, the 6th builder would theoretically cost 4000 gems. That would be very hard to achieve, and even if the 6th builder was restricted to TH9&10, that is the area you would be at by the time you could afford the 6th builder, assuming one that you never use gems for anything else and two that you progress at a steady pace.

Just like the people above me said, a 6th builder would most likely cost 4,000 gems, which is really hard to achieve. Plus it's really hard to keep 5 builders active during TH9/TH10.
The solution is easy. Like the upgrade time that doesn't go more than 14 days, this one can be for 3000 or at most 3500 gems.
Now I have 5 builders and almost 2000 gems.
As they're adding new levels for everything, so it increases the time to get to the max th10. and why not a new builder for all these upgrades during these years?
5 is plenty at TH 9 and 10... trust me lol.
Actually, it wouldn't shorten it at all. Currently it takes longer to max the lab. No amount of builders would allow you to finish any faster. Buying a sixth builder would be a waste of gems, from that perspective.Quote:

I don't have a need for another idle builder, I wouldn't even spend 100 gems on him...
At TH9 I don't really find this to be true anymore. the Lab was certainly the "rate limiting step" all through TH8, but if you're going to max walls and heroes at TH9 unless you're raiding 12 hours a day you'll finish your lab stuff long before 30/30 heroes and full Lava's.
