Village/Base Editor Enhancement
Currently, we have 3 slots for the normal village mode and 3 slots for war and we're able to save and copy over bases from one mode to another. That's all cool.
What i'm proposing on the enhancement:
1. Re-positioning:
Allow the 'capture and drag' of the ENTIRE base in the editor; ie. we are able to select the entire base and pull it up or down (happens when we make an error when starting off the design of the base). Basically enable a re positioning of the entire base as a whole instead of having to remove all buildings and start over or manually having to shift the buildings up/down.
2. Copy and built:
More often than not, some, if not most of us tend to copy a particular base - whether its a war base, a farming base or a push base. There could be a "copy" function where we can select the base that we want to copy and then "paste" the overall layout by making use of identifiers (ie. specific markings on buildings) to mark out the entire base and then auto build the base for us. :smirk: HOWEVER, you can only copy what is visible! This means that traps and teslas wouldn't be copied; unless of course you have 100% view of everything! :smirk:
3. Mass Range Display:
This range display is split into 2 parts - one for defensive buildings and one for enemy units.
When we build bases, we would want to check on the overall range of a defense building or to check whether buildings that we want to protect eg. storages are in range of enemy units eg archer queen. For the range display #1, we are able to select all defensive buildings and it will show multiple ranges altogether instead of having to select individual buildings to view their range.
For range display #2, we can toggle on the ranges of enemy troops/spells (perhaps by clicking on a button in the base editor which allows us to select and and create a "ghost" of the enemy unit/spell and place them on the map to see how far the range is exactly instead of having to guess and use individual traps (eg springs/air bombs) to calculate/estimate the range. That way, designers can improve on the overall pathing of the troops and also to better gauge the attack ranges.
Let me know what u think!
