Why not?

Maybe someone has already requested it but i just want to ask about it..As you are world-wide company and as you are giving free gems or special gifts in special days e.g : easter eggs, christmas tree why dont you try to give something for the muslim holidays?

I am neither racist nor against it but all users should be equal ? e.g : It is now festival of sacrifice in muslim countries and most of the players from Turkey asking about it in Global chat..

It would be nice to remember all your clashers in such holidays , i think :)

I'd be down with some awesome Muslim stuff on my base like the Christmas trees, however; a company has to be very careful when implementating things like this. I don't mean this in a bad way, but the worldwide Muslim community as a whole doesn't have the best track record of tolerating the use of religious symbols in other areas of life. Like the cartoons of Mohammed. If that were say, a rabbi or a Jesus or Budda or something, the rest of the world just chucles and goes on with their life. But when Islam is brought up in this way, many Muslims first gut reaction is to call for someone to be arrested, or worse.

If I were supercell, I would want to avoid this situation at all costs. And sadly, that means ignoring certain parts of the coc community, out of fear for reprisals. I certainly don't think the majority of Muslims follow this way of thinking, but there is a very loud and powerful minority that kinda ruins it for everyone. I am not trying to be anti-islam at all, just trying to give your post an thought out answer I feel you deserve. I I really don't want to debate world politics or religions here though.

Thank you for your post.I know what you mean and i agree most of the things you have said :) But i didn't mean to put cartoons of Mohammed or religious symbol :) It could be sheep or calf symbol and when you click it you will get some gifts etc. Or it could be candy we give children either money or candy :) And yes people in Christianism are more receptive about such things.. And you can be sure that most of the people in Turkey, Iran , Azarbiajan are playing CoC and i think they also deserve to get some free gifts in their religious holidays too and belive me its not a big deal for Supercell if they are not anti-muslim company ;)

Christmas is no longer really considered a religious holiday.

As an Agnostic, I celebrate Christmas. It's more of a consumer/commercial holiday then anything else in today's modern world.

I don't recall Supercell ever celebrating Easter...

The only other holiday Supercell celebrates in Halloween, which again, is more of a consumer holiday than related to any given religion.

I vote no religion specific events.

I think if they did events to celebrate other nation's holidays it would be great so long as those holiday's are religious ones.

I think that there are christian - like holiday free gems events because the game of CoC is based in a Scandinavian wilderness [ Norway and neighbouring countries ] where christian used to lived. It seems appropriate.

If CoC was set up in places like Turkey , Egypt , Persia then SC would surely added all Islam - like festivals !!

:D :D again no sense..C'mon maan i can tell you at least 5 6 million people playing that game in Turkey and muslims are not living only in Turkey or other muslim countries they are also in Finland or America or etc. You are just focusing on religious which is wrong ;) Finland is just 5 million people so do you think finnish people made that game worldwide?

CoC should not focus to religions but if they are doing it for the biggest one they should also think the second one ;) This is what i mean..

I am not religionist and all of the religions of the world equal for me,i am human first! ;)

Judging solely on experience I would say that clash is not a good place for religion or politics. If we need to take away Christmas and flags to reduce the presence of both and make everyone feel they are getting a fair shake, then I'm ok with that. There are plenty of other vehicles in the world for people to express their beliefs or culture.
