That is a great point, however on forums you may find spam, may not get full features of customizing a website, and the users can generate revenue from the ads placed on their blog, of course they probably want to make money from their content, and they cannot do it through the forums.

So yes that is a great point, but some of the people may want to earn a bit of side-cash to, you know what I'm sayin'?

which leads to my next point, it's not necessarily that Supercell doesn't want to equally promote and monitor all these different media outlets on the forum, but they are probably going with what their customers (the gamers) want. Some of the YouTube content is really good. Videos can do things articles just can't. Not too mention there is a TON of written content on the forums alone which is well laid out and presented (all you need to do is search).

Yes I was was waiting for someone to say that. Totally agree with you because YouTube videos are better than websites in many aspects more fun, interactive and better to understand if its a guide about something.

But again we cannot agree that reading posts about Clash of Clans in a website is not worth it. Maybe some people like to read posts instead of listening to a guy making fun and scream, just an example.

Here I'm just trying to create me and other people who own website a dedicated place where we can share our posts the same way YouTubers to in their own section.

Yea you are right about the money, everyone who does something related to Clash of Clans doesn't do it for free right ? Youtubers have their video ads, which in my opinion are more annyoing than website ads because you have to watch them and website ads are solid into a website template.

PS : I also hate pop-ads which my website doesn't use.

Also, I'd finally like to highlight that YouTubing isn't for everyone.

Even my YouTube channel I find difficult to watch due to microphone issues, the recording not being in HD, issues with music and voice. Stuff like that, however on a blog you don't have to deal with that.

It all depends on demand though, I'd rather watch a high-quality YouTube video than read an article, but I am an extremely fast reader, and I'd rather read an article super quick before work instead of watching a ~15 minute YouTube video to find the new "l3aked update!!!!111111"

However, as technology advances, I think websites of such will not grab much attention. People like to watch videos and see the gameplay as it is/was played. It attracts more attention.

Yea thanks for your support, just to be clear I have nothing against YouTubers I personally watch few of them regularly when they upload new videos. It's just being a YouTuber isn't for everyone that's why i prefer posting.

Exactly, this was what I was trying to say earlier. Adding another forum section does take extra resources. Most of the time a company chooses how it's going to want approach a market and spend its resources. Even though someone may want to produce a blog, if it's not what the consumer wants then it's kinda dead. While written clash content is good, between the forums and wiki most of it is covered.

While I would not consume the blog content, I'm not against it either (good on you for putting the work in) but I can see why Supercell would not add a section and may even seem to favor YouTube content. After all, YouTube content has done a lot of good things for clash (and there wasn't always a YouTube section), and I can't say the same for written content (outside of the wiki). Facts are the youtubers brought value to the game and bloggers have not (and I don't mean any disrespect, I'm talking about generalities)

here is the thing op if its not allowed why do it you got your website in ur sig no reason to post a long winded comment abt youtubers vs bloggers. Also dont say your not promoting your site when you put a link to it in the comment lol
