Seems like SC has decided they don't want to adjust that kind of things for achievements...I assume specifically because people have mentioned how unfair it would be for those who do achieve it. Seems like their preferred method is to simply make a similar achievement and keep them both (I'm thinking of the achievement for total trophies and for the league you are in...they're the same thing, just measured in 2 different ways).
I don't see any issue with this one though. It's a defensive achievement that most don't even try to do. It's hard. The only reason I can think to change it is that if SC decides they don't love TH snipes and want to encourage people to put TH in center. I think it's fine for what it is though...some people want to war so they get war achievements, some want to farm, some want to push, some want to put TH out, some want to defend...there's a little something for everyone.
If you focused on 3 starring this achievement you could have it long before you could get the war hero achievement (which simply based on game mechanics would take almost a year being perfect (6 stars every 2 days, 1000 stars total, 167 wars total, 334 days warring all day every day and always getting 6 stars (and not having any maintenance breaks to push war times back).
Lo yeah it seems way to little reward for the pain to get this one. Saying that, it's more of an endurance run rather than a difficult task, so I suppose the reward is about right.
I think ink it's an attractive achievment due to the fact not that many people ( relatively speaking) have this one or bother to ever get it. I'm determinded to achieve it, even if I die from tediousness! :smirk:
Nah if they changed the achievement it would cheapen it for everyone that already got it. If you want it that bad man up and work for it.
It would still say that you'd won 5000 or however many defences, so no loss for them. But I don't think there should be an increase in the gems, possibly even a decrease.Quote:
