Opt out reset to in after derby ended?

I had a player that opted out last derby which I know didn't work and you have fixed it..my players opt out switch stayed unchecked all week but when she logged on this morning to check and make sure it was still unchecked she found that it was once again checked. She never did this. Was this done because of your maintenance?

My question is can you stay opted out multiple derbies in a row without the switch resetting to in? My player will be gone 3 weeks on vacation and can't keep checking her game to make sure she stays opted out.

Yes, they have to opt out each week.

You have got to be kidding? That's not going to work at all. Why can't the switch stay where someone puts it? That was my understanding based on the info and video? I'll have to have her leave the nh and come back then. This stinks!!

For what its worth.....
When you opt out, your screen displays a message saying
"NOTE: changing this setting will only affect the next derby onwards"
As far as i know, onwards means all derbys after the next one. So the system will not reset your settings in any way...

But it did reset to in to one of my players. Was it just because of them trying to fix the opt out or is that the way it really works? Nick can you let us know?

Yeah and why did they not default it to opt out so that if we want to be in it we check it. This would remove all the players who don't play- now they r all still in the derbys!!

Just to clarify - was your friend opted out in the previous Derby? For some the opt out didn't work properly, and thus the check button showed opt out, but they were opted in. It should not reset itself.

Thank you Nick for replying! So happy to hear that it's not supposed to reset itself. She was unchecked before the last derby and I know that the opt out did not work. I had her check mid week and she still showed it as unchecked. Monday she checked and it was then showing as checked. I know you did some maintenance too so maybe that's what caused the reset. I had her leave the nh while she's on vacation just in case. Thanks for clarifying it for us! I'll have those that opted out this derby to check on Monday just to be sure.

Nick,

Today, at least 2 of my members are automatically opted IN again after the derby finished.!!
They were Opted OUT in the previous Derby and they did not change it themselves, they checked and found out the green check was back again.

(btw.. sorry for duplicat postings, I will try to remove my previous one)
