I go the opposite way. If I'm a TH7 and I can get what I want from a 9 or 10, I do it in a hearbeat. Let them revenge me, I'd rather them and their 50-90% loot penalty revenge me than a TH8 steamroll me with 10% penaltyQuote:

for those th9's saying they'd hit 100-100.. let's take economics in to perspective...
a pure barch army (cheapest army possible)
110 barb 110 archer still costs 66k elixir
if you're hitting 100-100, that's a profit of only 134k total resources per attack. this is god awful bad. must take you forever to get that 6 million elixir you need for a lab upgrade. Not to mention elixir-wise (which early/mid th9s need), you are only profitting 34k elixir. Cast a spell and you basically dont profit. Terrible. just plain terrible.
No one says u have to hit a th10 for 1*... as a th9, there are plenty fat th8s with 270-270-1800 for you to crush.
If I see a th7 or th8 for that matter hanging out in champion league I will absolutely slaughter them for cups and not feel the least bit bad about it.
