When is it time to move on to a different clan/home?

Hey clashers, I have been having this chip on my shoulder about wether or not I should stay in the clan im in, I have helped lead my clan to level 5 perk and been with for a little over a year. I have been having this feeling to start over and join a more established clan/group. I am trying to focus more on the war/Growth aspect of the game, and I feel like I am limited to the skill level of my clan mates, granted I am not the player out there but I try my best to attempt new attack strategies, new base layouts, and gain more knowledge then I could have just by watching viedos on youtube. When is it time to more on? Please & Thanks for the advice everyone.

It's a game. If you want to get better, join a clan that you can benefit from. Why hold yourself back from a better opportunity?

It's like asking if you should take a higher up position on at work? If you say no, you'll probably never get offered another promotion again and be stuck with the same old doing the same old stuff.

When you go on the internet and ask complete strangers, its time.

What is the actual issue? You want better wars ? Or better troops in cc? For me, my clan is not overly great I wars. But I am still forcing myself to try new attacks. As for growing my base that for isn't a clan related issue unless you are looking for advice and or again better cc troops. If you are not sure you are happy though, I would leave on good terms and go sow your wild oats as it were, CoC speaking. Once you get what you wanted from another clan return to the old one and provide the mentoring to others that you are seeking.

Since you are a co-leader, it will all come down to how good is your relationship with the clan leader. Is he/she the kind of person you can "sit down" and do a productive conversation in order to improve the clan? I have been playing CoC for little over a year as well, and the only reason I have been able to keep a clan together so far was because I lead it together with my family. That way we had our arguments, disputes, fights, etcetera, but still kept being a clan in the end (even tho I abandoned it a couple of times when the leader started being too unreasonable about something). If you think you have a solid enough relation with the leadership of the clan, than you should stick by it. If you have doubts about it, try talking to them anyway and see what happens. Then you'll have your answer.

Whenever you feel is right. Leaving the clan I started in was hard for me but I found my true home by doing so. If you really feel you want to leave, leave.

It's really a matter of opinion, but as others have said if you're coming to the forum to ask that might be a strong indication that it's time. I would also say that you should definitely talk to your clan leader about it, let him know you're planning to leave and why. Let him know that you may come back (if you've developed a bond with any of your clanmates then I'd assume you will), but that you want to try something different. Best of luck in your endeavors.

Once upon a time I decided to download and play clash because friends from another game I played had a clan. At first I liked the game ok, but it wasn't anything special. Our clan was an extremely laid back friends and family type clan.

By the time I grew to about TH6, I was in love with the warring aspect of this game. I was watching YouTube videos on how to be a better attacker, as well as general war strategy, I was giving my clanmates advice on how to attack certain bases, or which bases they should be attacking, etc. However we sucked at clanwars, people were terribly rushed, especially our TH9s and our single TH10, we never used every attack in a war the whole time I was there, and nobody knew how to attack or was even terribly interested in learning how except me and maybe 1 or 2 others. Kicking people was not an option, and nobody really seemed to care that we were losing all these winnable wars as much as myself.

Finally, after I had made my very first attacks in war with my newly unlocked dragons at TH7, after losing yet another war we should have won, I left the clan and joined up with a small little war clan called Sunset Lotus. I immediately hit it off with the members of the clan, especially the leader. My first war there everyone used virtually all their attacks, my attacking ideas were actually being listened to with great eagerness for once, even despite being the new guy, and people who did not do what was expected of them either got a warning and shaped up, or simply got kicked out all together. It was exactly what I was looking for in a clan, and I was extremely glad that I left my old one. A little over a month later I am a max TH7, getting ready to upgrade to TH8 in about a week or so, and have risen to the rank of Co-leader. There are a few other Co-leaders, but its basically me and the leader of the clan who call the shots during a war. Since I have joined the clan we have not lost or tied a single war either, at least not yet. :D

Moral of the story is if you think its time for a change, don't be afraid to pull the trigger. I am certainly glad that I did, and it sounds to me like you will be too.

Just leave.

And you don't need to rage leave or anything. Just head off for a tour and test out some clans.

Plenty of my players leave for a couple days, a week etc.. I am cool with that. (Actually it works out well as they often come back telling everyone how bad it is out there).

So try out a bunch of clans. I don't know why hopper gets such a bad rap. As long as you don't leave during war, have a blast.

If you leave during war.....then you are scum.

For me, when I start wondering how you know when it's time to move on...then it means it's time to move on.
