Is gemming resources wrong to you

Not wrong at all. I wouldn't do it but others are welcome to. I've "bought" a lot of gems (whatever credit I get on my phone each month gives me that much to spend in the google play store, and the only thing I really use it for is gems and music streaming), but I only use them for boosting barracks, gemming troops or finishing heroes if I'm in a close war.

There is no right or wrong. Just play the game the way you want it. Don't bother how others play or judge you, as long as you yourself know what you are doing.

Gemming resources is very very expensive.... converting real money into fake money isn't an effective use of your money. Converting gems into time is arguably better - at least you can use your time to make the money back (not that anyone ever does)

Personally I never used gems for anything else than builder huts as it felt less satisfying if I was going to get things right away. However I appreciate people who buy them frequently as that is the reason why we get updates / tweaks frequently :D

It's definitely not wrong at all and people shouldn't judge what others do with their money.

I see no wrong if people want to gem their bases, it's their time/money they've earned.

It's not wrong but it's such a ripoff. You can play how you want. Resources are so overpriced. However if the money doesn't bother you, gem all you want.

'Wrong' is not the right word. 'Inefficient' is better. To each his own, but I only ever gem time.

Define "wrong" :)

If you mean unfair or immoral, then no. Gems are a part of the game, and any use you put them to that is allowed in the game is perfectly fair and moral.

If you mean wrong as in a daft thing to do, then yes, it is very wrong, as it is one of the less efficient uses of gems.

I would very rarely even gem the time to finish a building, although I have occasionally gemmed the last hour or two if I had a particular need.

It's not wrong as people have rightly said...what it isn't is fun....which is the point, no?
Gem a couple of barracks and you get the enjoyment and challenge of raids and farming plus the loot and cups?
Each to their own though.....

I never criticise gemmers because then I would be a jealous so and so that they are in a better position than I am. Some people are busy and earn enough bucks to gem, I'm not busy (broken ankle) and have lots of time so I don't need to gem. I believe people who don't gem are generally better attackers.

I'm sure if you asked gemmers, they would like a trade off for time to play so they can get practise etc (they do in my clan).
