Totally inefficient use of gems? YES!!
time is money. no difference.
Geming is geming. I have gemed the last bit I needed for an upgrade. I have also gemed the time on things. They are there to aid my game in ways that I need. I do not think its wrong to use for anything. However I would not spend a small fortune to be able to play quicker. Sorry SC but spending a ton of cash to play is silly. I have however bought gems a few times. Spent about 15$ total.
Is it wrong? No, it's part of the game lol.
Do I think it's worth my time that I work to spend on gems? No.
Do you get more enjoyment out of your game when you gem a few things? That's a question you should ask yourself.
I see no wrong if people want to gem their bases, it's their time/money they've earned.
This is like asking if you bought the wrong car/house etc.
Why would it be? If gemming is fun to someone, be my guest, let them do it.
Wrong? Nah, you can gem whatever you feel like.
Highly wasteful use of gems? Yeah most definitely, gemming resources is up there with gemming CC request and hero healing time for most inefficient use of gems.
I mostly spend on boosts, once in awhile I'll gem a few hours on heroes for war.
There is no right or wrong in gemming resources. It's allowed, and doesn't violate any rules that SuperCell has set. It's you're gems, you can do whatever you want with it
