What has been the worst update so far in the games history?

I think perhaps you forget how stupid clan wars were when they first created them.

Bad loot.
No opt in/out system.
Terrible matchmaking (slow and bad matches)

I agree they are better now but still think it was the best update the subsequent CW improvements have only made it better.

And regarding the elixer walls, moving Elixir use to L9 and up was a very smart move, sorry TH8s.

Allowing elixir for walls was the worst move. Crashed the economy overnight (right when I upgraded to townhall 10 too lol). If I am not mistaken, that was the same update as lava hound which was an awesome addition. That has been my experience of most updates. Some things to love, some things to hate.

You realize 1v1 is still an option right? CW is an optional bonus.

I also started a few months before the CW update and I am fairly confident I would not be playing any more if it wasn't for CW. Clash with CW is a far superior game than the pre CW Clash.

I was upgrading to th10 to when that update was released. Took about 3 months or so just to get my camps maxed, let alone any troop updates done, and that was with using BARCH/BAM armies. I was seriously considering quitting at that point.
