Is th 10 too over powered now?

I know alot of us stay at max th8 and max th9 not wanting to go to th 10. So would it be wrong if th 9 got 1 inferno tower and maybe th8 could get 1 xbow.. it's not hard to jump from th8 to 10 but why should we? "Oh we are making sure th10 is ready for th 11" we don't need a th11 we need you to keep working on 9 and below cause th10 is what people thought th11 would be. Now I'd hate to see how over powered th11 will be when you guys release it. But hey,you don't care you don't play the game asmuch as us supercell. You're probably all th10 anyway with free gems. 👍so yeah fix the balance now with base defense. Those 25 walls are going to be annoying af for th10 in clan wars. Give th9 1 inferno tower.

Yes, th10 is unstable, and have been that since th10 release. Just try to attack a th10 and you will see how easy its to get 2 stars, so easy its not fun anymore.

It is not easy to two star TH10 with economically beneficial armies. TH10 defense is out of control.

Why should you be able to 2 star a max TH10 with economically cheap armies? Thats stupid

As a TH 9 I rarely go after a TH 10 anyhow. My guess is those walls are there to prepare them for TH11 whoopins.

How about level 110+ TH 10's. It was fine before. It was tough but you had a shot. I doubt that will be the case with additional walls.

Probably saving the third IT for TH11, just like TH10 gets a third x-bow.

The truth is by the time you're mid to late level of any town hall, if you're not consistently at least two starring bases at the same TH level, you should probably find a different game.

It will be fine. They arent too difficult to hit now, the walls wont make a difference. Jump spells, EQ etc...not a problem

Can you give an example of a cheap army composition (including levels) that you'd like to be able to easily two-star TH10s with?

Fairly easy to 2 star, near impossible to 3 star a moderately equipped TH10

The purpose of the new walls is to fit the new buildings. They've added a DE spell factory, an air sweeper, lots of goodies over the years, but no new walls. The extra 25 are long overdue.

I have no problem with the new walls...adapt or die.

I'm a th10 with near maxed defences n without the extra 25 walls I'm very strong as I don't raid, in a clan which don't do wars or hardly request.
Because everyone is so concerned on doing well in war they only build cheap armies when raiding so unless my collectors are pretty full they never go for a 50% or over raid even when my de storage is around 150k full.

Since the Lightning does no damage to storage, de zap loses are finished so th10 honestly don't need the 25 walls but for the integrity of the wars 25 walls can n will help.

If sc didn't give no walls I wouldn't of made a noise.

easy to 2*?

thats still not 3 star which is extremely rare in war...... def at th10 is still op.

9 is the most balanced th.
7is ez to 3 with drags.
8 fairly ez with hogs, need some skill.
9 has many diff strategys and hybrid generally needed for 3 stars but its not usually easy.
10 you go for 2 stars in war, very rare 3 star. def OP

TH10 3-stars are only rare because most TH10's are bad attackers, have terribly underleveled heroes, and only attack using 2-star armies (GoWiWi & GoWiPe).

Once you get get higher level heroes, start assessing bases better, and use 3-star attacks comps 3-stars happen quite frequently actually.

Who do you think you are fooling? If you think it isn't rare, then you are obviously at the top of the top. Very few people have heroes +20. It is extremely hard (damn near impossible) to 3 star decent TH10's without heroes +30. If you are spending gems, you aren't getting to 30+.

You are not lavalooning mid level TH10. Maybe GoLava, but not a straight lavaloon. Jump spells are definitely viable but 25 walls will make it that much harder.

What is your economic army comp that you use to 2 star with moderate difficulty? Maybe instead of complaining, I can learn something. Would love to have a new army comp to try out. I usually raid with giants/wizards/barch combo or giants/barch/healer AQ walk combo. Obviously WB's in there too.

lol, theres 40/40s in my clan family.... .no 3 stars of any decent th10 are not frequent. that is unless you include bunnies then yes they can 3 star frequently. RT family does frequently get th10 3 stars ive heard..... hmmmm

Maxed base with maxed walls versus maxed base with max offense and heroes are not frequent 3 stars without the use of bunnies. I have been warring since clan wars has come out and I have yet to see a maxed base get three starred in any war. We have faced clans with over 200 wins. Sure there are some fuzzy bunny players out their that can dishonestly gain three stars. For the average gamer and at th10 the average gamer is not casual, th10 defense is way to strong compared to offense, as it compares to any other th level.

I don't even go for two stars with cheap armies. My point is that just because it is not easy to go around two-starring every TH10 you come across with a cheap army, it doesn't mean that TH10 defense is "out of control."

The point of using cheap armies is not for their strength, but for their efficiency - in both cost and time.

With cheaper army compositions such as barch, the training time is also much lower than more expensive armies. You can do more barch raids (aiming for 50%) than gowipe (aiming for two stars) during the same period of time, for example. Barch is very easy to get one star in my experience. I gain cups much more quickly with cheap armies than with expensive ones. So why does one or two stars matter anyway if your end goal is to gain the most cups in the least amount of time?

Hogs to take out a corner then giant/golem rush th
giants archers wizards minions to pick off trash for 50%

If it were "easy" to 2 star a TH10 with economically beneficial armies, then what would be the point of TH10?

It is supposed to be hard to get 2-3 stars from a well designed base even at your own level (though this isn't really true in practice below TH8), never mind at levels above your own.

To be able to do so with "economically beneficial" armies would just be silly.

The walls are not going to make it so you get defence of the year, it won't stop jump spells and won't stop earth quake but was long over due and is nice to have something..

They put it out before the big update atleast to give us something to work on.

If if you are talking about farming then no a th 10 probably won't 2 star a th 10 and will go after th 9s for easy loot.. Th 9s seem to hit other 9s, rushed th 10s and th 8s and so on..

When i get infernos up to max i won't get hit much by th 9s as they don't have freeze... Aq and healer STRAT becomes usless and it's great for th 10s to stop that.. I don't see th 10s as op?


Now on the other hand, wars and trophy pushing. In trophy pushing using 5 golem strat on open bases was a guaranteed 2 star if you knew how to ATTACK it. And in wars too.. People got easy 2 stars., used to be thaf everyone adopted anti 3 star. Everyone 2 stared easly on anti 3 and then it tied in wars. Because they never got 3 stared or 1 or 2 bases 3 stared rest didn't.. Tie breaker. And I'm talking about all th 10 wars.. Not th 9s.

It's harder now with the new walls but easier in a sense the cc is busted. Speaking to a guy who's pushing and he said that poison spell is all you need on cc and that a cc is usless now with new spells. Maybe the new walls will help with stop somone luring the cc.. In any case it doesn't make th 10 op. It's just what we need if you consider trophy pushing and wars.. It would be stupid if lower ths could get easy 2 star but on an inferno base you can't. Why give th 9s an inferno? Th 8s an x bow? Th 7s would die and have to live off lower ths or th 7? This is getting crazy.

Th 10 vs th 10 is why we need all that stuff not th 9 vs th 10.. If a th 9 could hit us then we might aswell pack it in and go home.. ( quit game ) if you gave a th 8 freeze to stop th 9s or gave th 9s freeze because of inferno then that would make hitting a th 10 too easy..

TH10 is broken, if a good base at TH10 is a giant box with everything inside and very little thought put into trap placement, the defence is overpowered. A giant box. Seriously. A giant box.
I honestly don't know why you don't think the defence is overpowered, the pinnacle of base design in clash of clans is a giant f'n box. The fact that the number one ranked player often sports a giant box base should give the designers some clue as to the state of the game. A giant box with a resource ring and stuff inside. Seriously.
Th9 base design is an exercise in the most creative, imaginative use of every single item you have at your disposal, in order to prevent a three star. it's often nearly impossible to crack some without 4+ attacks, hours scouting, drawing up a plan, discussing it, redrawing, accounting for troops, spell space and compartments, calculating percentages, weighing time, the 3* attack on such a base can be a masterpiece. Often times the only viable solution to not waste 4+ attacks on it, is to have a TH10 hulk smash it on a first or second attempt, and I defend against those multiple times every single war.

Th10 builds a f'n box. A box.
Supercell should be ashamed to see those things at the top of the leaderboards.

I'll put it to you this way, if those giant box bases didn't have infernos, what would you do to them? Any other TH level with any design close to the giant box would be feedstock.

As a th10, im still able to 2 star other maxed th10s. Its not that hard using gowiwi or gowipe. Try being a th8 hitting a th9, or a th7 hitting a th8...you'd still say its difficult to hit. So its just the same in my opinion, that a th9 will also have a struggle hitting a th10. Its simple as that.

lol, indeed. I'm level 120 and I have literally 0 TH10 level defenses. Almost maxed TH9 defenses (two levels on one tesla and one level on one sweeper away), new archer and cannon up to level 7...that's it.

So now I'm a mid TH10 or hard to 2* because I'm level 120? lol

Very active players that raid a lot and donate a lot get inflated levels/XP

I would not have upgraded to TH10 if I didn't have a second account coming in behind, just entering the TH9 realm.

TH9 is the most balanced, the most diverse, and the most interesting.
