[PETITION] Name Change (Used one time name change and regretted it)

Are you one of those people who used up their one time name change and now regret your current name?
In my case, I changed my name to a foreign name and now my clan mates don't know how to address me!

If you are one of these people then sign this petition and carry it to the top!

This is why a one change name is enough, supercell gave us the opportunity to change our ign once. But after that we cannot use this option anymore.

As weird / unrealistic as it may sound, My irl friends decided to prank me and changed my name to his when I used to be in a irl clan. To anyone coming negatively at this, just don't. There are way too many variables in play for it to not have any fail safe. Even if they don't add a name change, there should always be a revert back option.

at the end of the day you'll have one extra name change / revert option that you may or may not use but don't comment if you aren't going to contribute to the thread as it isn't hurting you that is if they listen to us which again I highly doubt considering my days of automated replies.

You have to go through many steps to change your name;

1. First screen warns you in red that "you can only change your name once" you type in your new name and press confirm

2. Second screen asks you "are you sure you want to change your name" you must type in new name again and then press confirm.

3. Third screen shows the new name you have typed in twice and asks you to type in "confirm" under the name.

A fail safe was built into the feature already based on steps you have to go through to change your name.

If you chose to change your name then you need to live with your new name that you created.

There are instances where "YOU" aren't the one doing this change. The option to revert it back should always be an option without any further name change as it harms no one

Yes at least being able to go back to the previous one.

I kinda agree that this restriction might be useful, but we should have a way to revert. Either pay, or give back one try after few months, or after each CC or TH update.
