Yes. I still have same chat and crash problems too.
I have loved and played HD for over 2 years, but I am sad to say that the bugs and crashes of the game game have finally cost me too much. They have even cost me my NH!
Why?
I could not chat to help others, lag and crash, I could not help boats, crash, trucks, crash, etc., crash, etc, crash, crash and crash! First diamonds vanished, crash, then I could not even buy diamonds bc I could not connect with ITunes, crash, etc, etc. I stepped down from Leadership within the small NH I helped create, crash, and eventually I left entirely. Crash! There were extended periods when I could not get into the game to play. Crash, crash and crash again. The game was/(is) unplayable! That caused me to have unfinished tasks that were hurting my NH's Derby placement, crash, and I just felt like I was failing my Neighbors all the time. They looked to me for help and Leadership and I could no longer be counted on. It has been awful!
HD needs to fix this, but they are aware of the problems. When the large thread "Slower than molasses" appeared I posted early on and followed the thread for months. I have tried all the suggested fixes small and large, updated, closed all apps, uninstalled, reinstalled HD and FB over and over. In frustration I installed Beta IOS 9.0, that didn't help so I reinstalled IOS 9.0. So much wasted time and energy. SuperCell needs to go back to the beginning of the problem and work from there. The problems will only worsen with each update, getting buried deeper and deeper, until the game becomes so buggy no one can play in a fun manner anymore.
I feel like SuperCell has abandoned us, and hopes we will just go away without complaint so their HD game ratings will recover. That is the only reason I am posting this complaint again. Some of us may eventually go away and become silent, but the problem will lurk there and come around again unless it is fixed.

It does not surprise me that Apple has found a huge RAM surge (at 96%) on your device when you are playing HD. Many people in this thread have mentioned their game play devices become very hot. I have a very thick cover on my iPad 2 and I can feel the heat generated come through the cover on mine too. This is a serious problem and SC needs to correct it right away!
In the meantime, (ahem), I am left wondering how many people are still having major problems and have given up!?!
Please acknowledge your problems on this thread if you have crashes hampering your game play.

Ios 9.2 update still black screen crashing
Ios 9.2 update still black screen crashing. Did update. still crashing back to black screen on ipad 2 & Iphone 5. Hayday level 145 barn 5250 silo 5400 town level 33 also downloaded all hayday updates. Please solve. Still no response from hayday.
