I'm having the same problem plus keyboard now all in lower case letters.
Having the same problem here too with the stuttery game.
I have the crashing problem on my iPod 4th gen running iOS 6.1.6 and the last two updates have made my game nearly inoperable. Today, I went to game center and signed out of my account. So, my friends tab lacks my GC friends. But, it has helped with the crashing and laggy, slow game play. It is something to try and it does have it's drawbacks. But, if it helps there too, maybe it will help SC fix the issue. I am surprised how much difference it made to my crashing problems. I could not load other farms, shop in the DD and more. It has dramatically changed my ability to play and may help you all see if things improve and, if so, help narrow down a possible explanation.
Same problem here too ! :(
Rly annoying..
The lower-case keyboard is a "feature" of the new iOS 9...
You can change this yourself by going into Settings > General > Accessibility > Keyboard and using the "switch off lower case keys" option (slide the button to the left so the green color doesn't show).
i am also having a problem with my first edition IPad freezing since I updated my iOS to 9.0. Can't find any optional update. I don't know what to do
Same problems on my ipad only my game center is loading a blank page, I have lost all my game center friends. I went thru the settings but when I click on the game center to see if I'm even signed in it freezes and won't load anything.
I am having the same problem too. Running Hay Day on iPod 5th generation, iOS version 9, have 1.9 GB of free space, the device still freezes and crashes sometimes. Also, my GC friends are not loading at all. I have tried to restart the phone, quit all active apps, and install the optional update.
Some other apps are working fine, no crashing or freezing.
I have this problem too
Since updating to iOS 9, I'm experiencing freezes. No rhyme or reason to it. One time I went to add an item to a production queue, and freeze. Another time I tried to look at the items my town needed. Freeze. Each time I force quit Hay Day, and restarted my iPad. Restart Hay Day, and play resumed for a few minutes, then another freeze. I bought my new iPad Air a couple of months ago, mainly because of problems with my iPad 1st generation running Hay Day. Now I'm wondering if I spent all that money to upgrade my device to still experience problems playing the game. Extremely frustrating.
I know Apple provides registered developers with beta of iOS for testing their app before Apple releases it to the public. Coupled with the problems that iOS 5 players are experiencing, it leads me to believe that SuperCell is NOT performing a thorough test of Hay Day updates on ALL supported platforms and operating system versions. Maybe slow down on the updates and concentrate on testing the existing app fully, in all environments.
Its a shame. I have been playing this game for almost 2 years, and thoroughly enjoyed it until now. SuperCell, increase your testing time and decrease the speed you deploy updates.
