iOS9 and iPad 4... Farm slower than molasses

Since updating to iOS 9 today Hay Day is freezing approx every 5 mins or so. Quite random when it happens in terms of gameplay at the time. The screen simply freezes and nothing can fix it meaning you have to double tap the home button, force close the app, and reload. Once reloaded all seems fine in terms of speed etc... Just within a few mins the screen freezes. It will freeze before about 10 mins of gameplay at the very most.

I am using a 128g air 2. I had no problems whatsoever until iOS 9 was installed. All recent game updates were fine.

Slow, stuttery, and crashing since installing the new operating system. I can barely play more than a few minutes on my iPad Air. I closed other running apps, did a hard restart, and no better. I contacted ingame support and they got right back to me, but told me to install the optional game update. I already had, yesterday, and the game was running perfectly, as always. But then I installed ios9. That was when the trouble started. There have to be others with this problem!

I am one of the others😨An yes, I have installed optional update as well.

I don't want to revert to an earlier iOS, and shouldn't have to. Every other app and game running on iOS9 is running like gangbusters. I've done everything Support has suggested, including uninstalling HayDay and reinstalling it. If anything, the problem is getting worse.

Same problem here - it's generally more jerky as well but has frozen on me several times since I upgraded the OS - I should have known better than be an early adopter!!

I'm also having the same problem on my iPad Air 2 with iOS 9.

I had already installed the optional update.

Im running iOS 9.1 Beta and had no problems, yeah for sure the occasional freeze but this happens on BB and CoC also.

I've been using iOS 9 on my iPhone 6+ since this morning and generally it seems to be working okay, but I did notice some hiccups in the personal train animation...little stutters. There have been some minor hesitations in the Hay Day side, but they are almost not noticeable. As rbcrewser said, I have also noticed some of that with the other two games I play today.

Same here. hay day doesn't like iOS9. and it IS hay day because it is the only app Im having trouble with.
Clash of clan is working fine as an example


Hey day stutters and freezes and like you said sometimes locks up and you have to hit the home button to force quit the app


IMHO it is sound related. something the way hey day is calling sounds is causing this
