Farming troop styles

Hello fellow clashers,
Was just wondering whats with the giants, archers, healing spells, barbs, heros farming style. My whole COC career I've used barch, but lots of people attack me with giants and spells. Plus, won't you get more loot if you just use barch with no spells? Sorry if this is a stupid question, was in a clan for awhile that no-one knew what was going on. Left a couple months ago and started one. But none of my clanmates can answer my question.

With the higher troops you can get in the bases for protected storage, compared to barching the outside collectors and storage.

I can hit storages with my Giants. A lot less nexting to find good loot, especially DE which I rarely find in large quantities in drills but easily keep my heroes going with juicy DE storages.

I think barch-nospells is good until TH9. Because TH9 needs a huge amount of DE and you probably won't get it from collector raids. So you either start going for storages or perhaps push very high in cups and live off league bonus.

I'm a TH8 and so far I almost never farmed with anything else but Barch/BAM. Sometimes I use 2 zaps to take down an annoying mortar but that's it. I guess I'll switch to Gibarch at TH9, with lv6 giants it looks sort of easy

I've switched to GiBarch with my mini at high TH8, now it is needing to upgrade the DE troops and BK, so is after lots of DE.

For deeper penetration instead of waiting for a collector base o.O

Either to hit the DE storages or because we are lazy and don't want to spend a long time nexting, so just hit the storages.

I still use barch because its faster but when I'm bored or overnight I use Giant-Wizard-Witch to crush pretty much anyone without two maxed infernoes.

Giant and barch works well, attack every 20 mins or so. And in lower league don't even have to use spells to reach storages.
