Hi guys,
As we all know this update is a minor one, leading up to a big one at clashcon. I think I know what that update will be. Quests! I couldn't believe there wasn't a thread about this already (at least not that I could find.) In the sneak peek post there is a gag that says "quests at clashcon", obviously an allusion to masterminds quest. Do you think they're just playing us? I'm a little unhappy to know the update before I see it, but I'm confident that it'll be quests.

I laugh at people thinking that TH11 will be the Clashcon update.
That's just adding a new level. That's not game-changing!
The ClashCon update will be officially a game-changing update.
That means it will introduce new features to attract new players. And of course, we all are gonna enjoy it!
That's the reason for the next update: attract new players.
Do you really think SC will host a really really expensive and massive event just to announce a new level?NO! That's thinking in a selfish way, we, the players, we are not the center of the world.
SC is a business and they want to attract new players.
Adding a new TH is not a game changing update, and it's not a incentive for potencial players to download the game and play it "They added a new TownHall? What's a Town Hall anyway? Pass..."
ClashCon update will introduce something big, a game-changing feature made to attract new players, just like Clan Wars update.
I certainly hope that this is the case, there is very little need for th11, and I am fairly/sorta close to being ready to upgrade myself. The thing is, I want more content, more reasons to log on and play the game, not just more stuff to build. Granted, I still need to grind out A LOT of walls, but I probably will never do that and I think many people feel the same way. Grinding out walls is an high level achievement, no doubt, but if that is the goal of the game, I certainly don't want to play anymore. I can't imagine that many people would.Quote:

I dont think they would simply add quests like the goblin maps. This is not a single player game. My guess is something like the operations in Boom Beach. You have to beat some predefined bases using all different attack strategies depending on the base because one time there will be more ads, one time more cannons etc. You can pick different difficulties with higher bases giving more reward. There will be a loot bonus and some clan XP. In the next round the goblins attack your base and you have to defend.
The idea behind this would be to make it worth upgrading your base to th10 and build your infernos instead of maxing out because of matchmaking in cw. Most players get bored at high th8 or th9 because of maxing defenses and especially walls.
With this additions there could be a th11 soon because it is worth upgrading. Another option instead of th11 is some form of endgame content exceot for walls and heroes of some minor incremental updates.
people telling th11 is gonna be nxt update,pls anyone explain how supercell gonna introduce th11 untill new troops.fyi there is no new troops we got in th10 and there is still no strategy for consistence 3 star th10.before th11 introduction ,they gonna do lot of ground work for th11.still we have th10 unfinished,how could they introduce th11.
i think new update would be clan tournament as we saw some initiative in nordic clash tournament.if it would be it,its really gonna be "big" update.

Quests would be fine but I'm not fixed at on it... I don't much mind what they bring out as long as it isn't more hair dryers.
That's a good idea. It would be hard to program the CPU to attack your bases, though. Maybe not difficult, but people would suspect it's programmed to get a certain percentage no matter what, and wouldn't truly depend on your defenses/setup. I was thinking they could do something similar to what Destiny did recently. You have several different quests going on that include all parts of the game. For completing them you would get experience, materials, clan xp (based on quest,) maybe limited boost sessions etc.Quote:
