TH9.5 Question Regarding the New Walls

I'm going to hit TH10 in a couple of days. I have 15 lavas left to build, so I expect them to be done before I make it to TH10. I had planned on pursuing the TH9.5 strategy. Since my lavas will be complete, I was going to pour all my gold into upgrading my lavas to zaps (after upgrading my clan castle, of course).

However, the new update is introducing 25 new walls. I'm trying to decide if I should use my gold to upgrade my existing walls from level 10 to 11, or for building the new walls and upgrading them. Does anyone have any idea which of these options will increase my war weight the least?

Get your new walls to L10 first. The war weight will be so small it won't matter.

10 wall levels will likely push your war weight up more than one level. I am generalizing from the same being true for many low level defensive upgrades versus a few high level upgrades. (Archer tower 0 to 11 is more weight than 11 to 13, etc)

I agree that in both cases the impact will be mostly negligible.
