Not able to update the game

i have been playing on the ipad and past 3/4 days i have been unable to access the game as it says that i need to update the game. when i press the update button , it takes me to the app page and the hay day game download insert opens up expect that there is not button which i can press to update the game. i have also tried going to the updates page in the app menu but the hay day does not feature at all in the list of apps to be updates. can someone guide me through this or fix this issue ?
