Axion, fine and dandy, and noted, and fine, but why bother having the feature at all then?
On the bright side, since that loophole was addressed- I now hit bases with 35+ heroes, maxed troops and camps..with absolute impunity. ;)

Well, how much time should they put into removing it? It does work for some, as mentioned, in lower leagues so there's still some usefulness of the feature. It's easier to just let it sit unused (or underused) then to take the time to remove a feature.
I think the solution I posted may be the next best bet but all it'll do it allow players who can already catch a revenge or two here and there, and let them do it a little easier? Perhaps having that easier revenge down in Gold and lower will have an unintended consequence of players wanting to leave (read: Go higher) their league to avoid the easier revenges? Or will it become too OP as the TH9 and TH10 preying in lower league may be able to smash lower TH's who try to attack or snipe them?

There is one time I ALWAYS look for revenge, and can regularly get one.
Immediately after any maintenance, particularly in higher leagues for big cup offers.
Fairly recently there was a small attack cooldown straight after game coming back live which nerfed this practice a little.
Still always worth a look. When the game closing red message pops up, stalk your revenge list for who is online. Soon as you can get back online, check to see if those folks were quick enough on the button.
Can be really refreshing to catch a 30-50 cupper from revenge when haven't seen anything above 5 all day in MM.
Said it a good 20 times on here...raise shield requirement from 40% to 50% so it's either shield or trophies...ending "cheap shielding" so that we can get back to a feature that is exciting and fun
To be clear, I don't want to revenge because I'm angry or anything. I want to revenge because the loot bonus is phenomenal and superior to me hitting next 10-30 times lol. I like the feature, I'm just wondering at the point of it now. I'm a newer th9 in crystal 3 and while I did get some revenge action as a th8 in gold, it does not seem possible in crystal. Its not even like I want to revenge that often these days, considering any really successful attacks made on me are much higher tier th9-10, but it'd be nice to actually have the option.
Interesting information Axiom, didn't know any of that. Well I knew of the easy shielding, but didn't think it was so popular they had to patch it.
I found in gold and lower some revenges were available , in crystal very rare. It is a fun part of the game for me when I get to revenge someone though . And got revenged nicely on a few occasions which was also kinda cool.
