whats the logic in first attack on mirror and second clean up?

if most people dont 3 star their mirror and then they have to clean up, isnt that pointless? why dont people (except the top few) attack a few below their number to guarantee the three star, then the top players attack close (#1 attack #1 and #2, #2 attack #3 and #4, #3 attack #5 and #6, etc) then the people below attack a few below their number so they get more stars and not waste their first attack? most clans have the stupid rule that does not make sense

Some clans have the attacking Mirror option because it's just easy. This way people know exactly who to plan for so there can be no getting in others way etc.

The clean up is again because of the Mirror. You are essentially trying to better the score on a base which has already been attacked. Therefore leaving open bases for their Mirror to eventually get there.

It's a guide for non-serious war clans.

If clans are serious about war then they will have a system (normally outside of Clash) where people can discuss tactics, share tips and reserve who they are going to attack. Most clans don't have time for this.

Every clan uses a strategy that has come to suit their team. In our clan we custom assign bases not based on mirrors at all - mostly my top bases (Th 10's and top 4 or five nines) get custom assignments and then those below I drox a set amount depending on the enemy sometimes it is mirror bur most times ranging from 2 to as many as 11 on heavey enemy. Thanks for a great question. But many clans do employ first attack is mirror then clean up up or down depending on performance or set rules on a base already tried. This is very successful for many clans!

Some clans don't use 3rd apps or websites to call bases rather than everyone causing drama, they set it like that so people don't flip out due to other people killing their mirror when the other person only 1-2 star also.

It makes sense, I think, the lower rank you are, higher should wait longer.

War is all about strategy and coordination. A good clan will have someone who coordinates the attacks and plan.

If you are talking about a casual less then 20 player war with a mixture of TH10,9,8 and 7, the plan is, our number 1 player (usually a titan or champ player) will try to attack all the opponent's top TH10 players for a 2 star. Then 2nd TH10 player will Lavaloon the opponent's TH9 players for a 3 star.. then all our TH9s will attack those th8, and th8 players will atack th7.

For big clans with full TH10 on 50v50, usually they will attack their direct opponent then use their 2nd attack to cover up those who only get 1 star.

Some clans choose to mirror, which I don't agree with, but in the bigger clans it could make sense, and some clans that I've faced win wars by doing just that.

That's the easiest form of clan war management. The problem that sometimes arises in unorganised clans is higher players attacking lower weaker players. The weaker players end up with nobody to attack as all that's left are hard players higher up the war ladder. So the attack the mirror player basically means you are attacking someone around your base level. It is of course flawed, especially for th9s facing a th10 with infernos. The better the clan, the better the management during wars and the less you see the mirror attack rule.
