Without any gems? Raid in gold and silver with GiBarch. It will go much quicker if you boost your barracks with gems though.
Raid, get gold, use idle builder to upgrade walls?
That's what I plan to do.
I know the secret of how to upgrade walls. When you have enough loot you click on them and then click the upgrade button. Pro Tip! Don't forget, it takes a builder to upgrade your walls. Thanks profit, good advice.
Really though, at TH9 getting just under 1,000 trophies has really been a sweet spot for gold and elixir. . . You get attacked a lot down here though, so if you don't raid in sessions 2 or 3 attacks in a row best to stick to gold league and barch there.
I know it sounds like I am oversimplifying but high level walls go to the people who play a lot or spend a lot. Play the game more. There is no secret to it.
Looting efficiency. Use BARCH, don't rely on spells- and hit for loot in Gold or Silver Leagues...where you feel most comfortable.
My favorite strategy is to loot enough to pay for 1 wall, click on wall segment to be upgraded, click on upgrade button, and then sit back and watch your wall magically transform to a leveled up wall.
