Defensive Building - Terraformer
Hey Guys. :)
I just had a very promising (at least I think so) idea for a new defensive building. Maybe it could be implemented if anytime a new town hall 11 Comes out. So here is my idea:
Name: Terraformer
What it does:
You place it anywhere on your map (Doesn't matter where). It can be changed between for example 4 different states. The states are different possible weather types. Each weather has it's pros and cons.
One example of a weather type could be Snowy Weather:
In this state all non air troops on the whole map are a little bit slowed down. (not too much because that would be too op, but still enough so it is noticeable).
Another example (the oposite of snowy) Windy Weather:
All airtroops on the whole map are slowed down but not the ground ones.
There could be other weather types (I'm sure supercell has lot's of ideas or maybe you guys know some)
maybe something like acidic weather where all troops have a small amount less health, or rainy weather where troops that shoot fire do less damage or just anything that has permanent but small effects on some troops.
Maybe it would even be fun to have a weather that instead of weakening the troops it gives some defensive buildings more power. Like sunny weather where the archer Towers do a bit more dmg because they have clear sight or whatever. I imagine the possibilites are endless and it would sure be fun to see supercell working out some coold weather types.
Also I think it would be cool that the chosen weather type starts as soon as someone attacks but when the attacker destroys the Terraformer itself then the weather turns back to normal.
With those weather types avaiable there would be a lot of new strategic possibilities to create a good defending base. You could choose to make an anti air base and combine it with anti air weather. Or you could instead change it so that you have a more hybrid version like anti air base + anti ground weather.
I think it would be fun if the terraformer looked like a reversed pump and when the game starts it "shoots the weather" up in the air and sprays it over the map and when the terraformer is destroyed it sucks the weather back in and then explodes. (just looks like a fun special effect in my mind).
But I guess it would be good if the terraformer had a small indication on it's side so you can see the weather type before actually attacking.
Also it could be like the Xbow and Inferno Tower so you have to reload the terraformer with some ressources after it was in use.

And if you have ideas for weather types please tell me I'm sure you can come up with some cool ideas :)
