New version no longer launches

Was just forced to update to the latest release on my iPad IOS 5.1.1 and now the app no longer launches. Selecting the app goes to a black screen and then back to the tablet. This is worse than the last download where it crashed constantly.

I have none of the extras loaded, I have cleared out as much as I can and did all the ♥♥ of shutting down the app, shutting down the iPad and then restarting with nothing else running and still have the same problem.

What used to be a good game is now a POS. :mad::mad::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

My HayDay app was working fine on my iPad IOS 5.1.1, but as of a recent HayDay upgrade it no longer launches. It just dies and goes back to the home screen. Hopefully this will be fixed ASAP as my kids are driving me nuts !!

After updating the game, it will not start.

click on the icon of the game, a black screen appears to try to run the game, start occurs and returns to the main menu.

judging by the number of similar messages in different social networks is a global problem !!!

Whether the work underway to remedy this problem ???

Update didn't work, now I've lost the game

I was trying to get the update, following all instructions. Once I deleted pr uninstalled the game, it is now gone. Level 70, 600,000 coins, app 60 diamonds. ..gone. continually get message that "game cannot be installed from default setting .." i can't even download a new game, ie Farmville.

I don't think the fix will save me now. I uninstalled the game like instructions said. So discouraged.

after the emergence of the problem, I deleted the game and downloaded from the App Store again.
After trying to do it a few more times.
Instructions on removal of all running programs and restart - just does not help.

after the appearance of the update and downloaded it, a miracle happened, the game loaded! )

Try to remove the game from the device and download again

And...

Finally, another update to solve the IOS 5.1.1 issues.
installed it and.... Crashes the first time.
Cleaned up the whole lot and... It crashes again..
Did the big cleanup, removed HD and... Yeah, it starts, but crashes after trying to open settings.
Why did I try to open settings, well, no Facebook connection.
After several tries I managed to get Facebook connected and my farm looked ready to play with...
But.. Opening the newspaper, it crashes. Try to get to town or get back, it crashes. Try to go to my neighbours, it crashes and last but not least, fishing, well I didn't even got there.

Well, it works only if I stay at my farm, harvest, produce or cleanup something.
Almost there Supercell, a few problems remain, but the game starts.

Will wait for the next update.

Deleting App

Hello,

My mum is having the same issues as all of you -- tap on the icon, the screen goes black, we return to the home screen.
I deleted all extra apps, giving her more space. She doesn't have much on there -- she has lots of space. I closed down the extra stuff so she'd have more RAM, restarted the machine, to no avail.

I want to delete the app and re-download it, but will she lose her farm data? She has a level 57 farm, and we play together daily. Is it safe to delete the app?

Please help?

Downloaded the new update 9-15, didn't quite load the game. Got to the customers appearing before the house. Then it crashes. Do you advise something more....... uninstalling? Will I retain my level and 94 diamonds?

We are working on another update to make it work even better! For now, please force quit all apps, restart your device and then try again! I can't say for sure if it will help much, but should at least make it better!

After updating the IOS 5.x fix there are still plenty of crashes. When you first try to run the game the scarecrow giving instructions will cause several crashes. Just keep starting the game again. For me, at least, that worked.

It does make a difference to the players using old technology that someone is trying to make the game playable for us!

I appreciate your reply and the news that they continue to work to get it so we can play again!

I installed the latest fix as well and was able to get into the game a couple of times but the thing still crashes. I have powered off the iPad and shutdown the game but still have to try to launch the app 4-5 times before it actually loads. Can't access the newspaper and going to other places causes the game to crash. So the fix really did nothing.

The biggest problem I have read is that the game is crashing on all version of iPad including the latest release. The 1st generation is the worst but if it crashes on all generations then there is a definite problem here.
