Recruiting/Clan Searching from the Forum: How successful have you been?
Hi all! So I'm relatively new to the forum here, and just recently decided to start a recruitment thread to try and get my clan(s) growing faster. I've had one person join and later leave, so it got me wondering: For those who have used the forum either to recruit or to join a clan, how successful have you been at finding members/clans that made a good fit for you? What experiences could you share about that? Looking forward to hearing back from you all!
Welcome to the forums and good luck!!!
As with anything getting your team set to those that fit like a well worn glove - it takes time. We have a recruitment thread and get many that come through - but some are just testing the waters and others just dont fit in. But some become beloved members and stay on. You have to be patient. Update your recruiting thread with fun tid bits about your clan (Ie: We made clan level ____ or congrats to Member _____ for being the best donator or WOW we just won our 3rd war in a row etc. things that will catch people eye and also keep your thread alive - just bumping is less desirable in my opinion)
good luck with your clan and forum posting!

So we recruit exclusively from the SC forums
And have been doing so for almost a year. The only other players that join are personal referrals.
So on the "Looking for Clanmates" Recruiting thread have folks other than yourself post. Personal endorsements work well.
For the "I need a clan" posts give an individual response. Look for folks in your target range (say th5 to 7) and only respond to those. Go ahead and look 2 or 3 pages back. As long as the original post was less than 1 day ago it is still ok. I also look for ones with few responses. Avoid the ones with 20 posts. Less than 10 is ok.
Good luck!

Not many good TH9's out there looking for a fantastic clan I guess.
I haven't seen to many come through via this forum.
We have a great, level 6 clan. We have rolled out the red carpet for mature, skilled TH9 and TH10 players.
