So, I'm looking at my base, and apart from lab upgrades, my last two elixir upgrades are a DE drill to lv6, and the DSF to lv3. Now, I know that I'm getting the DE drill asap, but do I even bother with the DSF? Is haste even worth it? Thus far, I haven't thought so.
I'm a mid th8.5, who farms enough that the cost isn't an issue, just that I don't want to waste the builder time for X more health, versus something with X more health, and shoots the enemies.

Absolutely I take haste over poison any day during a GoLaLoon.
At the maximum lvl of the haste, the speed boost is more than 1.5 times more than the max lvl of the rage. (1.64 to be exact)
So, it's better to use haste with balloons than using rage especially when the dps of the balloon is high enough to not need the damage boost provided by the rage spell.
