I want to suggest a new game play mode.
Under the attack button we currently have two options (single player and multiplayer). How about a "intraclan" mode.
Explanation:
In the intraclan mode you are able to attack you clan mates.
Rules:
- You can not win or lose trophies.
- Troops and spells used in the attack are lost.
- CC troops (both side) are lost, if used.
- Heroes must regenerate after attack, if damaged.
- No gain or lose in, gold, elixir and dark elixir.
- Losing does not activate a shield.
- All traps, xbox's and inferno towers must be reloaded after an attack.
- No affect on achievements.
So basically the intraclan mode will be a training facility for the clan.
Benefits:
Players can practice attack plans/strategies.
Players can test out new base layouts.
Team mates can expose each others weaknesses and work together to improve each others overall game play.
Increased in-game time.
Drawback:
There should not be any off the top of my head.
(But there should be some discussion).
