Every day, this question is asked in a new thread by some fresh spawn, and every day they build their argument around how many upgrades are at a certain level and never about the balance of a TH level or the OHKO potential of PEKKA level 3 to PEKKA level 4 relative to building DPS.. You know, the arguments that actually give a compelling reason to have PEKKA 4 at TH9.
And every day when arguing that TH9 should get level 4 pekka because TH10 gets 2 levels of it (even though it's the ONLY troop TH10 gets two levels of), they conveniently forget that TH9 gets 2 golem levels, 2 valkyrie levels, 2 witch levels, and 2 hound levels.
But tyler is right, it's about balance. TH9 already has a very powerful offense. I mean, if we're going to start talking about balancing the number of levels available to each town hall level, we could start talking about heroes. Let's see... TH7 and TH8 only get 5 king levels each. TH10 only gets 10 king and queen levels. But TH9 gets 20 king levels and 30 queen levels. Why no talk about spreading out hero levels?
If you want a bigger punching high dps/hp ground troop at th9, then ditch the pekkas and use max valks.
There you go, problem solved.
Yes they are different, with different strengths and weaknesses, but far more effective than lv3 pekka.
I do have a problem with SC making valks unusable at TH10 by not giving them another level, but that's another balance story entirely. We shouldn't be looking at how many levels of upgrades a troop gets at a certain TH level, the question is "is the troop strong enough to be used at said TH level".Quote:

It is a th8 and th 10 attack.
My problem is that pekka lvl 4 is entirely useless. If a th 10 uses it in war they are a liability.
TH10s need the pekka boost to fight infernos on multi because wizards get melted away. At th9 this would be too op.
The idea behind dragons lvl4 and lvl5 was to nerf dragons at th7 and th8 with the hitpoint increases, but not at th9 and th10 were they are already very weak. If a good th9 dragon attacker cant beat a th8 with it, there is clearly something wrong.
It's barely a TH8 attack, but that said, your argument is irrelevant to the argument at hand. If TH9s had PEKKA level 4, that could potentially balance them as a three star strategy and make them usable. You have a lot of inflammatory things saying this is useless and this is useless somewhere else, when the question is, can these two things that are currently useless as they are come together and make something useful at TH9? But I guess you'd rather talk about how superior you/your clan is rather than make the game superior.Quote:
