What I suggest you do is opt out of war. When I got Th9 I immediately opted out of war. This helped me out in the long run because I could concentrate on my heros until I got them to a decent level. I also got my war troops to a decent level, so now I can get back into war and feel confident about attacking a mid level base (mirror opponent). Since you are sort of a mid level th9, I'd do the same thing :) good luck with whatever you do :D

You have screwed yourself. Lvl10 heroes and lvl3 bows. You do realise that you get a 12hour shield if you keep th outside. I don't understand your logic of protecting my base. If you are a new th9 then probably whatever resources you farm would be dumped in upgrades. Its not like you have to store stuff for long.
Even if you have better clan members, you will still be matched with a pretty high th9. Unless your clan allows you to attack th8 I don't see how you will 3 star in wars.
Anyways whats done is done and cannot be reversed. My suggestion would be to completely stop doing defense upgrades. Let your builders sleep. Get your heroes to minim lvl30 combined before getting back to serious warring. Start by loons and then lava hound. This way you will atleast have a 3 star strategy with you. Take max golem in cc when doing these kind of attack (obviously depends on base but general).

Xbows don't actually deal that much damage but they do carry a lot of war weight. Mine are still level 2 while my other defences are pretty much maxed. Only have canons left and then my bows will go to 3.
I have max troops for th9 and my king is 15 and queen is 11. I 3 star nearly every time, my main attack would be goho (golem and hogs) but its nice to know all the different variety attacks out there.
th9 is not fun at the beginning its a grind to get troops up to standard but once your troops are max you will be enjoying it more.
Unfortunately for you, you did slightly rush and you have a lot of dark troop upgrades to do.
Start concentrating on offence, get your troops upgraded and th9 will soon be a piece of cake for ya :cool:
Edit: upgrade your hogs, heal spell, loons and hounds and your good to war against other th9s
