Level 30 King and Queen, worth it?

If you don't mind waiting with all your builders idle, it is worth it. I finished lava walls at th9 and I had lvl 20 heroes so it was a dilema for me but I decided to upgrade to th10. Now I'm doing my walls, lab upgrades, defenses and heroes upgrades all along without wasting much time waiting.

I have no idea why anyone would upgrade heroes it is such a waste

I agree with arunt, except i went to th10 as soon as my last lab upgarde started. 3 max drills at th10 makes saving dark much easier, and with new matchmaking it is easy to find good loot with little nexting in any league as th10.

keep your lab busy 24/7. That's the only important factor in upgrading

Exactly.

But it depends why you are playing CoC. I'm not playing to upgrade but to get war stars. It means I have to selectively upgrade rather than upgrade for the sake of it.

I don't care whether my builders are idle as long as I have troops I need to get stars and defence to not be 3 starred.

99/100 I get th9 to attack at war. If I move to th10, then that's what I will have to attack. And as someone said it's easier to 2-3 star th9.

Even though SuperCell is adding more stuff to keep us busy and entertained, any active player will max out th10 sooner or later and then the game may become bit boring. Upgrading is important but CoC is not SIMs IMHO.

This is not true, no one will clear you base if it's not attractive (e.g worth a full attack). You need to stay in the right league with the right setup. My DE storage always has 3k DE for raider to steal but rarely ppl raid it.

That's not true either, you don't need to stay logged on long if your base has nothing to steal and if you don't care about troophies. As i said, no one will make a full attack on a base which is not worthy. Base setup and leagues are the keys.
