Im th10 lvl20/21 heroes and I think is fine. at least in TH10 you can have 3 drillsQuote:

No it is not. Even if you have 30/30, th10 will still crush your puny th9 defenses. Better up your th and dont let builders idle. It is a serious waste of time.
Worth it but not necessary, depends how long you can bare to stay at TH9.
Lv20 heroes are fine for TH10
Desirable? yes. Essential? No.
I went to TH10 with lvl 20+15 heroes, and I am doing fine. BTW, you can plan as much as you want, but you won't get lvl 30 heroes at TH9 without spending a lot of gems or spending a lot of time at TH9 with idle builders. It is even worse if you war.
Personally, if you don't gem hero upgrade times, I suggest that you go to TH10 once you do the following:
- Heroes lvl 20 or above
- Lab researches finished. Research times at TH10 are crazy and it makes no sense to keep the lab idle for months.
- Walls upgraded to the level that you desire, prefereable at least lvl 9 walls.
Bit like saying is £300 better then £10? No brainer.
