Hello guyz.. I am a semi max th7.. With only wiz towrr , ad and teslas left to be maxed.. They r all just 1 level below max..Almost90% of my walls are lvl 7.. So i was planning in going next th.. Should i do it?? And if not plz describe why.. Coz lqst time i rushed from th6 to th7 with lvl 5 walls and level 2 ADs.. But I caught up within a month.. So. Plz.. Explqin me.. Why max when it is not even required?? My troops are always max before going next TH btw
If you rush to th8 or th9,it takes a lot of time to catch up.It's better to max the base.Teslas are worth upgrading because they are deadly against gowipe attacks which you'll face at th8.

I advise you to keep upgrading your defenses and let new stuff (which you unlock @ the new th lvl) come in the right time.

TH 8 gives your about two new lvls for each defense.
Maxing is for Clashers who don't have as much time to play (less than 2-3 hours a day). It allows you to make sure your not behind when you reach the next Town Hall. Rushing is for the active players, since it requires long block sessions to maintain resource and keep upgrades going.
For war reasons not-maxing it all can be the better choice, since every upgrade you do increases your wight, which means facing stronger opponents (at least it should behave like that).
But keep in mind it's about whole clanwight, not every single basewight.
Rushing can give you some benefits, if done right.
Make sure your offense is able to face a matching defense to that, also keep in mind, with a far behind defense you won't be able to keep your ressources.
So e.g. you got T9 offense, but you only got 7s defenses: you can farm and also go for serious war attacks, but you will do hard to keep loot and be a easy target on wars.
Back in my old clan we often attack the rushed ones last, for tactical reasons.
Maxing makes you stronger in day 1 of your new th. A maxed th8 is stronger in day 1 of th9. However, by the time the maxer reaches th9, the rusher would be 3 months old th9, who is stronger offensively and defensively than the maxer.
Maxing in the long run has no inherent advantage compared to smart rushing if your main goal is progression and farming. For war, you'll need to plan your upgrades really well for it to work

Of getting th8 as soon as i max my mortars , cannons , archer tower and another barrack .. Nd do teslas and wiz tower during the upgrade period of 8d of th8... Nd ya i m very active 3hours daily atleast.. And my king , troops and most walls r max for th7 as well.. Nd i hav no probs in farming.. All my builders are always busy . nd something goes around in the lab

Got some mates who maxed all before starting TH upgrade...
Well, it's upgrading for 10 days (8 to 9), back then it was 4 wars for them, also regulary attacks were just for the attack and kinda waste.
Storages full, nothing to sink ressources means prepare for the lootlovers.
So you are kinda forced to attack and keep storages overflowing, for a day or two at least... So you need to waste ressources for nothing.
Just to make sure, all of your TH 7 troops are maxed right? If it is, then just upgrade it if you sure you will be still active playing CoC because at TH 8, your troops will take longer to research than upgrading all of your defense.Quote:

If you jump from TH7 to TH8, its going to take you roughly 8 months to play the catch up game. Its better if you max TH7 before you go to TH 8 or th9. Both these TH's takes extremely long to get maxed out and if you need to do the catch up game, it will take even longer, much longer.
Yes you will get nice stuff like pekkas, BK, AQ and Xbows, but that doesn't help you if the rest of the base upgrades sucks.

I played a new one and now its already th8 nearly maxed only tesla and archer left and some walls.
Don't max your TH level. If you are level 7 and nearly maxed its up to you if you go th 8 right away. Just remember don't add any defenses. There are lots of advantages.
If you are familiar with th 7.5 8.5 and 9.5 its explain the advatange of th level.
You are advantage with the spells, army.
In war you are th8 but your lane is only th7 this is just an example.

You're good to go I'd say. At TH8 lab total time > all non collectors building by a large margin (assuming 4 workers), around two months. Learned this the hard way :/
I think the biggest defense is the loot penalty. If you're a premature base, people with equal or one town hall level higher than you will easily crush you. Defenses aren't cheap so when you're hoarding money, you'll be robbed. Most cases you'll be fine if you leave town hall outside far away in Gold league. Most of the time you'll be attacked by people with low level archers trying to get league gem achievement.
Wrong. Best defense is having no loot. I was a rusher who lost less than 1mil per month when I rushed, simply because my stores never had more than 1milQuote:

^This. I'm glad I rushed since I had access to royals early while my troops / defenses played catch up. Although my defenses are th7 [except th9 ad's / th8 wt's], I only have 9 more hero levels till max and lavas almost done.Quote:

Better base is very subjective. 2 players from maxed TH7 are 2 months into TH8, having lvl5 barch, giants, wb, wiz, loons and lvl 4 hogs; maxed elixir buildings, maxed AD, maxed teslas. Player A continues and maxes TH8 in another 3 months time (1month idle builder while waiting for lab). Player B moves to TH9 and spends his 3 months there.Quote:
