Is there a way to win defense from Townhall 9 GIBARCH attacks?

I'm a almost maxed th8 and I always get crushed by townhall 9s with AQ and level 6 GIBARCH army. No matter what defensive base I used, I always get crushed by those th, even if they're AQ is below level 5. Level 6 giants are so overpowered with the heal spell or with the healers.

I've used youtube bases from anti giants, labyrinth etc bases and still same results.

My defensive towers are: all maxed mortars, wiz towers, adts and cannons, 3 level 10 and 2 level 9 archer towers, 3 level 5 teslas with one currently upgrading to level 6 and 1 level 2 air sweeper.

level 4 clan castle (dragons and balloon inside but most of the time, wizards and archers) and level 10 Barbarian King

Anyway, sorry for the long post. I just want to tell how I'm experiencing and hope to hear from you guys.

Take mx loons in cc and get a good base

You can win if the attacker is bad, or doesn't have heal spells/healers

Otherwise no not really. Find a league where you get crushed less (either pretty high so you get sniped for bonus, pr pretty low to get attacked mostly from TH7s/8s)

You won't be able to defend a good attacker with TH9 GiBArch, but you can make it hard for them, ensure the CC has Loons and/or a Drag in it, and make sure you have a good base.

There are some great base on the base design area of this forum.

Step 1- Never use youtube bases... Everyone uses them so everyone knows how to beat `em. Come up with something original.

i usually ask for a dragon and a balloon once i get offline, our clan is level 6, so if anyone donated troops it will be a 1+ level. so your suggesting that i only ask for maxed balloons?

like i said i almost tried most youtube bases, probably the attackers i've encountered are really good attackers.

by the way i'm in crystal 3 league.

i'm currently in crystal league 3 but i still get attack constantly by th9 bullies, lols!

that could be it, so i guess i've got to come up with my own base designs and test it and keep on making until i create a good base for me.

When I was a TH8 I preferred more compartment style bases. I ran a farming base called The Golden Planet posted by Bourbon. Served me very well. The poster above is right on. High level balloons will wreck those giants if they go in hot and don't support them.

I also climbed to crystal 3 to entice more TH snipes and placed decorations around the TH. Attackers dont have to worry about possible traps.

Have you seen how atrocious dragon DPS is? It does nothing against giants under a heal spell. Max loons, on the other hand..
