Well one would be that it's probably best to have an even playing field for a meta where you only get two attacks and that's it.
You get as many attacks as you want in pushing and farming provided you can find a base.
In war its you win or you lose there are no 'retries' after those two attacks. Not like I'm pushing meta where you -20 with a bad attack and then you can go back with the next few attacks and negate your loss.
Farming is purely progression based, heroes aren't essential to farming, the goal of farming is to make loot. There are many ways of doing this. Also farming is forgiving, you miss 100k in a 200k of each raid you can just get more in the next few raids.
You can't change a result in clan wars, once you fail, you fail.
War requires you to be ON POINT for both you raids as you can't redo them that why it needs an even playing field.
