No loots at TH8

So Ive moved up to th8 last week. I tried going up to 1200 as most of the forums ive read and people i ask says its a good trophy range to be farming at. In my experience though, i couldnt find any bases with good loots, theyre always under 100k and it takes so long to find bases with that amount and up.

I could find loots easy when i was at th7 and ive seen a comment from someone in one of the forums here saying that he filled up his 6m capacity in just one day, Im struggling to fill up 1m, let alone 6m.

Is anyone else experiencing this? What trophy range in this th works for you best?

i farmed at 1300 for raids like 150k+ for a bunch of archers. However its not that great anymreo so im trying 1700

Maybe its because the update got rid of half the inactives? I dunno, but im having the same problem

From what you are saying, I think your trophy range is the problem. As a TH8, you are now seeing a 50% loot penalty on TH6s and thus ruling out a lot of bases to raid. 1000-1200, the range you are implying here is the farming range of TH7s. You should be exploring 1200-1400. Hitting 1200s is just the low side of what's best for TH8.

Sorry that wasnt clear, Im at 1220 right now. Will try going even higher :)

I'm sitting at 1200/1400 trophy range and I've got no problems getting resources.

Whats the average loot r u getting?

The 1200 - 1300 range is just brutal right now. I don't know what's causing it but a certain times of day it's a wasteland of resources.

it didnt used to be this way a couple of weeks ago

When I was TH8, I preferred to hang out just around 1300s.. so I'd try to maintain 1300-1350. I'd get 200-400k gold per raid.

Average raids for me are 200k at the moment. And I even don't have to use all my troops... :)

I'm at the mid 1400s and am having to hit next 10-20 times to find loot with over 150k gold. Then again sometimes there are bases with that much loot after a few next but the bases would eat my troops up.

Go up to 1600, I've found plenty of 100k+ bases...

You'll often find the occasional inactive base...

Raid above 1300 trophies, anything below there is garbage for a TH8. Unless it is sub 200 or you get lucky.

Im in th7 and im making 200k plus each resource around 1350-1450

I farm in the sub-200 rangs. over 100k each raid lots of good resources, minus the very low level players that no one attacks.

Dude theres plenty of loot. I get like 200k each battle. th8 1000-1200 trophies

Maxed out my th8 base at 1400-1600 trophy range - plenty of 200k+ villages there :P

1400 trophies is good for me , get around 100,000 gold and elixir on most battles

I sit between 1400 and 1500 and raid 200k+ bases all day..and yes, im a TH8.

I farm between 1100-1400, maybe you're just unlucky :D

Im a few week old th8 and I stay around 1475-1625. Great lots there. Average 250k each and even if there a strong base that can eat up troops, go for it! U can still get good resources and the occasional loss keeps cups regulated.

You'll have to explore and find what trophy range works for you. I farm just above 1400 trophies and do great, however a friend also moved to the same range and had a lot of trouble getting good loot. There is no perfect range to farm in so if one place doesn't work move up or down and try it there, until you find a range where you're finding good loot.

try 1500-1600 thropy range.there's a lot of village with 200k loots :)

Haha...1200. WAY too low. I'm at 1800-1900 and I'm hauling in giant loots. Shhh don't tell anyone

1300 -1600 for TH 8 is best... Higher has more loots but harder to get in. 1400 and above would be good to farm dark elixir.

At what trophy level are you?

Like most have said, 1400 is great. There are many abandoned bases with 200k plus. I'm having a lot of success there

In a th8 and have been for two days, I got rubbish loot ever since, as I used to be 1100-1200 but then at 1200 it got a bit better, due to this thread going to go 1300.

I'm getting 250k+ each and the win every raid at 2k cups. But I can only attack once per hour which sux. There are plenty of inactive bases at 2k cups as well...

well you are level 96 and th10 so probably easier for you there then for me :D so guess I should not try 2k cups with my th8 level 59 guess it works good enough for me at 1300-1600 hheehe

At TH8 I was getting 200k+ each every raid without even using my whole army. TH8 easily has the best loot available...
