Want to help....

Apologies if this should be posted elsewhere, I just wasn't sure where!
I am level 36, have extended all my land, don't particularly enjoy fishing, but I do like to fill people's boats and revive trees and bushes, and I sell good stuff.
However, I don't want friends. I have 5 active followers whose farms I check regularly and help when I can. I've been checking the papers today and could hardly find any boats, and no trees to help.
My question is, where do I post that I help followers? And, what info do I need to give them to find my shop/farm?

i dont think theres anywhere you could indicate that you're opening to helping people except by changing your farm name and roadside name. people can find you if they add you on GC but that is mutual so it would mean having them as a friend too. and since you said you dont want friends i dont think theres a way for them to find you except to just follow your farm.

Hi, following your farm is not something you can control out of the game.


someone can only follow you if they visit you through newspaper or if you helped strangers, but they have to DECIDE to press that blue ribbon.

If you want more followers, one easy way is to sell everything at lower than max price, regularly (not just once or twice) , and advertise in the DD regularly.


You can change your farm title to "follow me I will help your boat" or whatever.

But personally I don't know why you don't want more friends... Followers tend to just buy everything and don't really help you back....

bunnymum does not want any friends, not more friends lol. i was like this too until i found some really nice people through trading. they're really good neighbors, gave me great tips and advice thru pm, gave me freebies (but that is beside the point) and they also help my boats ALOT. of course i enjoy helping them too. it also allows you to unlock more roadside shop slots so why not? haha. having friends is fun actually. makes the game more interesting.

I don't fill my own boats often, and never plant more trees or bushes than I can take care of. I just enjoy helping others, so don't need friends. Everyone plays the game differently, and this is how I like to play :)

yes of course! just play it like you normally would, so long as you're happy :) for a start you could change your farm & shop name, and swisspie gave a good piece of advice - price your stuff real cheaply and people will follow you. happy farming!
