Hey everyone, my clan had a LONG losing streak and we were able to fix it by splitting up our wars into two smaller teams.
It was 10 & 15 for us, you war less which can be good or bad BUT you do win. We haven't lost a war since switching to this technique.
As long as all your members at war attack, you can usually win wars that have 15 or less members.
Lemme know what you all think and post your own ideas to help the frustrated clan leaders out there!

So true! But not only having smaller wars... but having smaller wars with more reliable members. So frustrating starting any sized war with a bunch of hoppers or people who don't follow war rules. Good to keep wars small to recover from a bad war log :thumbsup:Quote:

I have no idea if this would work, but what about pairing people up together in a mentor type of situation. You don't have to do it for everyone. Just a few to start, and see if the idea catches on.
My clan did something like this for defenses, we had all our co leaders sit down together and go through everyone's war base to fix little problems here and there. keeping the enemy from gaining stars is just as good as attacking for them.Quote:

Agreed. Reliable members are a MUST, best to have a way of communicating outside of the CoC app too. A lot of my members are real life friends so I can always text them about it, but I've seen clans use the kik app a lot in order to communicate.Quote:

We added more members and started going with 30v30 or larger. Since then, 6-1. Most wars are even with a few being in our favor.
We also kicked every rushed base or made them go to farm clan.
In game communication leaves much to be desired. Apps like BAND make discussions quite a bit easier. It's probably better that it's an outside app. If such a thing were implemented in game we'd be blocking global chat trolls constantly.Quote:

People can post or link helpful videos or other information that's beneficial to the clan. Not everyone will want to use such a tool, but if most people do I can't imagine it NOT helping.
Honestly, a whole guide could be written about how to properly construct a winning war clan. Going down to 10v10 or 15v15 wars usually does help in clans that are struggling to consistently win wars, but its usually just a side effect of the real problems that kept your clan from winning previously being diminished. They are still there, and you will still lose because of them from time to time, but you will win more often than you were. This quick fix is just a band-aid solution, and eventually 10v10 wars get boring, so if you want to get into bigger more interesting wars in the future I would suggest fixing the problems at their root.
Simply going down to 10v10 wars will not work for every clan either, because sometimes the problems are too big to cover up.
