Upgrading eq spell

I know most of you think it's useless to upgrade it but I m looking for reviews of ppl that have upgraded it and how they notice the difference, how does it effect your patching and the destruction percentage?
is it worth it?
i estimated upgrading would increase my army costs by 140 per raid (I m only th9) with 100 raids a season that's 14k de I exclusively raid with giwizarch eq rage n heal.

has anyone upgraded it to lvl 3 or 4 and can tell a difference in troop behavour or gaining a higher percentage since?

If you ever use it, upgrading it is not useless. This is apparently obvious. More damage to buildings is helpful.

I don't know anybody that regularly uses earthquake spells for regular loot raids, but if you do, maybe upgrading some spells and troops isn't a good idea because they do get more expensive. But for war the idea is to bring everything that you possibly can on the attack, no?

I used eq spells for farming elixir. You use DE instead of wall breakers or jump.

If you use eq so much during farm I wouldn't recommend you to do it, your DE loot will suffer a lot. I only use it at war, I will definetly upgrade it when I have the DE.

Well, there's no other reason to upgrade earthquake spells other than to deal more percentage-based damage on other buildings in the spell radius

i use 4 eq for every attack war and farming, it's just to op to not to, many will say butting costs 500 de, well my lootbonus covers that and I aim tohot targets with 2k+ in storage so it's still a 2.4 k win. And the use of de spells makes my army train time 1 h (1h 15 if I had to use poison) instead of 1h 40min (1h 30 min instead of 2h 30 min as th10) when using normal spells so I can defenetly say using eq for farming is well worth it if you can attack once every hour or so at work ... Or if you are in a trophy range where you can't afford going for a raid without a full army.
if you continuously barch it's not worth using due the cook time. But any other ground based army it think it is good for farming.
