You growing a tree in your phone or what?
Some stock roms ships with a lot of bloat wear and really bogs down the phone and batteries.
If you follow a good tutorial for rooting you won't need to reinstall clash. Your phone won't reset in most cases. check XDA they have great guides for each phone.
Rooting is used for many useful things. One of them is what mido said. Also it allows you to remove unneeded system apps :)
Agreed, when I had my last iPhone, I had it jailbroken for two reasons:
1) So I could use internet tethering, the default phone wouldn't let me activate it because I had grandfathered unlimited
2) So I could use any simcard I wanted, I travel for work and it was great to have my own iPhone when I was deployed in Afghanistan but with a Rowshan (Afghanistan Cell Network) Simcard.
And I believe most devices need to be rooted/jailbroken to allow video recording.
Androids seem to have less reasons to Root, as it gives you far more flexibility than the iPhone ever did, but I agree, can't just assume nefarious reasons for rooting/jailbreaking.
Yeah... I'm sure asking about COC in regards to rooting a phone is for non-nefarious purposes...... also, if any of you defenders of the rooted honesty think it's innocent please pm me. I have some ocean front property inside the grand canyon for sale. Maybe you're interested?
