Pekka is in need for a buff

I think the pekka is great on sides of the base. Once in the core and 3 skeletons traps are activated they will get lost and follow those little things while teslas fry them :facepalm:

I think their attack speed should be increased while keeping same DPS. I'm rarely using pekkas in my attacks because replacing them with golems currently gives better output and better chance of 3 stars.

PEKKAs are fine as they are. GoWiPe is fine, getting them in is easy if you funnel well. They gut cores well. But getting out is a pain especially if the base has high level walls. Also using backend loons/hogs helps.

While I do agree that PEKKA was indirectly nerfed by the HP increases, I think reducing the attack interval by one-half is just overkill. It would double the PEKKA's DPS.

Another solution might be to increase the damage per shot, but there are some problems in finding a reasonable amount.

Like you said, the level 3 PEKKA used to be able to one-hit a level 10 cannon because the level 3 PEKKA has 750 DPA and the level 10 cannon only had 750 HP. Now the level 10 cannon has 960 HP (10 more HP than a level 5 PEKKA's DPA). That's a 210 HP difference, so increasing the DPA of the level 3 PEKKA to be able to one-hit-kill a level 10 cannon would make a level 3 PEKKA have more DPA than the current level 5 PEKKA.

The level 3 PEKKA was never able to one-hit a level 12 collector, but a level 5 PEKKA used to be able to. When level 12 collectors were released, they had 840 HP (90 more HP than a level 3 PEKKA's DPA). Now the level 12 collector has 960 HP. This is the same amount of HP that a level 10 cannon currently has. So if the level 3 PEKKA's DPA was buffed to be able to one-hit a level 10 cannon again, it would enable them to also one-hit level 12 collectors as well, which they were never able to do.

So it gets a bit complicated in finding the right balance for each level if the PEKKA was ever buffed to restore their old one-hit abilities. But simply doubling the rate of attack just would be too powerful.

Agreed! L4 Pekka @ Th9 would be great, Th9's have L4 dragon so why not L4 Pekka.

Halve the attack time halve the dpa would still probably be OP in practice.

The incredibly slow attack speed and double damage from teslas are essentially their only weaknesses.

Urg, no. Just do the same they did with Archer towers:

• Attack interval cut in half
• Damage per attack cut in half as well

I assumed it was obvious enough not to have to explicitly mention this (I keep making this mistake).

Agreed with this, pekka moves to slow and attacks to slow and the hp buff just nearly made her useless in a lot of attacks. She needs to be buffed. Teslas are op towards her.

Yeah, only the DPS is explicit inside the game, if attack interval had to be halfed, damage would be halfed too.
