Farming base that needs improvement

Hi Supergoji - besides the upgrades people mentioned you might want to better segment stuff out to slow down attackers. Something you could do easy and quick is to close out the exterior blocks where you have spring traps, etc in between defenses at the perimeter. They are pretty tame and a wall holding someone back while defenses took shots would be a better option, allowing you to also use the traps elsewhere.

I thought about that, but then I realized that if I do, it will create a big T Junction that Wall Breakers will target, and if they blow up that part of the wall, then that will get the enemy army access to both my defenses and my storages, something I do not want to do! Do you have any different suggestions, or perhaps have a screenshot of a layout I can try that is better than this one?

My browser isn't allowing me to reply with quotes but ... in response to the walls, I'd uncap that cannon by your TH and use those wall segments to drop a divider in each of your N,S,E & W corners. It would add a lot of defense around the entire perimeter while only sacrificing the one cannon block.

As far as other farming layouts, there's so many it's almost impossible to give suggestions. The great thing about this game is the layout that works for you is the one that works :). And that all depends on how much loot you carry and what kind, how many trophies you carry and how upgraded you are etc etc. And no matter what there's pretty much always someone who can crush you if they feel like it. I just upgraded to TH7 last week and of course at the moment I'm quite partial to my offset chevron hybrid layout but I'm a little biased :p

Back to the original comments on the upgrades - even if you made no layout changes at all - dedicating some serious coins and time to upgrades will make a massive difference. You could have purple walls at that TH level and that would sure as heck slow down attacks. And your archer towers could be one-shots on most ... and your cannons .. and your WT ... basically upgrade city! Exciting!

I took your advice.

Fr the most part it looks good but there weren't enough walls to cover a gap at the top of the base, so I covered that with a bomb and a Spring Trap.

Trust me, I have no intentions of moving up in TH Levels until this base is 100% upgraded for its level.

Purple walls sound pretty! :p
