Some clans use it.
especially beginners.
But, it's not accurate and sometimes you find your recommend target too strong for your army.
We spend so much time teaching new members of our clan to ignore that.

Recommended target is about as useful as the search function on this forum.
I think it's quite hard for the game to tell you a good match, but as mentioned, some people might use that so I would leave this system in place for those people.. it's not like it does any harm to us :)
I would correct the above text and say "The recommended target is about as used as the search function on this forum", because the usefulness of the two cannot be compared :smirk:Quote:

I agree with this, our clan laughs at what our recomended is if we ever notice it...
Once it was at the end of the war; I was 20, my reccomended was 8...
After a year and a half CWs, you're telling me that people still use "hit within x of your reccomended"?
Id say just have it with the person closest to your base value. You're still going to have some overlap but not as severe.
