Hello, the idea is: the clan leader can lock or unlock members from war to leave or not the clan during war.
Often new members leave the clan after the beginning of the war, it should not be allowed! if a member give the ok to be in war, he should not leave until the end.
Okay, so a 24/7 war clan could basically lock a member in there forever.
This would not be enjoyable for the member.
Also, what if someone just joined the clan and the clan is abusive and starts a war.
Oh gasp, this member can't escape. And he/she gets to be miserable for two days.
Or, a person is opted out and a leader/co-leader decides to opt him/her in. Person has to stay in the clan.
Let's see what these members can do to help their situation.
Be a jerk to clanmates, donate wrong things (war map included.), they can attack in war by dropping one troops, make their base a easy 3*.
This idea would make the situation worse for clans who have the people in war leaving problem.
We all hate people leaving in war, but, doing something about a minority will ruin it for the majority.
I don't think this would fix anything. Do you think that forcing them inside would do any good to your clan? It's not like those people would get a message "You cannot leave a clan during war" and they would say "Oh that's right, I should do my attacks before leaving like a good guy".
No.. forcing them to stay in your clan would just make them waste their attacks or attack for resources, aka a barch army to jut get the 50% and the loot bonus, OR it would make them to create a mess in your clan, insult everybody, screw your troop requests with Goblins and Wall Breakers, and in the end you will just end up doing the same thing, kicking them out of your clan which you so much wanted to stop them from doing.
even if they can't leave, supercell can't go to their house and make them attack.

With this new update, new members will think twice before being included in war so more responsability and less freedom only if you want it ;)
A cohesive team that works together like a well oiled machine is the secret to winning wars. If you force someone to stay that either does not wish to be there or is a horrible fit it can damage that machine like pouring sugar in your gas tank! If they dont want to stay I want them to leave.
Maybe they could leave but still be able to attack while not in the clan
No, there are better ways to deal with it. Like not being able to participate in another war for a week unless he uses both attacks.
Any clan with a good strategy can tolerate the loss of one player during a war who has chosen not to attack. If you have more defectors than that per war then there are probably deeper issues. No doubt the traitor should be punished, but how you enforce that is difficult.

So is everybody oki with no more war for 7 days if the member leaves a war without doing 2 attacks?
- so if he leaves in that way -> 7 days no war
- if he get banned from leader's clan -> nothing
i think this is a good idea XD
