Question to those pushing to Titan

Hi guys,

I'm currenty trying to push to Titan. I reached 3950 but it looks like I'm in front of a blocking point. All bases I'm being proposed are +1/-39 trophy offers.

I was wondering how you guys did push to Titan. Have you been attacking LOTS of bases for +1 tr at a time in order to reach Titan, or nexting continuously until you found some more attractive trophy offer ?

I'm counting and have now been nexting around 600x since this morning looking for any base offering at least 6 cups (knowing I will probably end up with 2* so 4 cups taken)... Couldn't even find one.

Or have you been relying on defense ?

When i started pushing to 4000 cups, it was very easy until the 3700, enough bases to raid with rather good offers.. But at the point on which you are on right now, it became way harder to find opponents! The only way to get through it is keep pushing, and attack every townhall snipe, and when you are lucky you can get the 20 or 30+ cups! But it is just a matter of perseverance...
And something about defense, just put your townhall outside, you will get attacked instantly but almost always for minus 1 cup, always better than -15 from a two star! If you are a maxxed base with zapps walls then it might help to but your townhall inside!

You're at the black hole of cup offers. It's not nice.

Try reloading your game after every few nexts, is slightly more likely to turn up an average to good (12-20) offer within first couple nexts of a fresh search.

Yes I'm full maxed with full zapps... but still the chances of getting a successful def are quite minimaln this game makes it too easy to get a 1*. Last time I have been attacked by a guy at 4750. He attacked me with full drags 5, surounding my base (after taking one ad down using lightning). The guy was clearly aiming at 50%, did 45% with the drag and got the additional ones with heroes. Honestly, I really find there is something broken in this game if this is how you can reach 4750 cups. This type of attack really doesn't require any skill at all !

Don't worry. Try this:

Klick on a members name in clan chat, klick the home button on your iPhone or whatever button/ soft button it is on your current device, then klick immediately "Visit".

That way you leave the game within a process and the game will refresh/ reload.

There is a few seconds delay before you are shoved into MM, but you can just change language. This reloads the game instantly and thus finds a new search queue.

It's also the cause of all the confusion as to why people think different language settings get different loot at different times of day. They don't.

Although this does not take any skill, it requires a ton of gems, which in the eyes of supercell is great offcourse, but for you not so great unfortunately... Any normal player who plays without spending so many gems will try for a two star and those might fail! I see that you surpassed the blockade because you are at 3963 now haha, did you find good cup offers suddenly?

Im in Titan 2 now. Highest was 46++ cup

I didnt rely on defence at all. Up there, no matter what base u use, youre gonna get 1/2 star anyway. Best thing is, you learn from the elites. You will see very strange strategies like 4 jump 6 golem and they can 2 star u easily so u kinda learn from it.

While pushing u cannot afford to loose and every base u come across, you have probably attacked it many times already so every bases u attacked u will know its weakness.

Dont just focus on pushing, practice. Learn how to attack every base. Over the time the next thing you know when you start a war and u look at your opponent's top bases you will be like "yawn boring, i eat this base all the time for breakfast" then you become very good at attacking typically any TH10 base.

Back to your question,
i made my push to titan solely from attacking. I will remain online the entire day and search for opponents. At times i get pretty lucky to find 20-30 cup offers. Sometimes 50+ cup offers if you come across Titan 1 players who was unlucky enough to get disconnected half way. Pushing has a certain timing where u will get pretty good cup offers (depending on your country). I live in asia so the best timing to raid is in the early noon 11am-2pm and after mid night around 1-2am.

When you are pushing u cant afford to lose. It can get very frustrating sometimes but remember one thing, every lose is a lesson and u only get better. Enjoy the push and be patient. At the end of the day, you are just pushing and chasing after something that is virtually useless. You dont get any price or monetary gain for reaching the top. Yes its a good personal achievement to have and show off your titan badge to your mates but at the end of the day, no one cares. Enjoy the game the way it is and always get better at it.

Yep, the ocean of ones. Next, next, next, next, next...

Expect 20-30min searches as the norm. Go on 9-12+ cup offers, just hit next until you find one. As you get higher you may have to settle for 6-9. This will continue until about 4200-4400. Unfortunately, it's actually better than it is later.

The good thing is, your army is training the whole time. You can hop out if you want, but it resets everything. Most of your search time is added to training time. I don't leave it unless it's a snipe or attack. I often have an army waiting for me when I return.

tip, you can leave your TH exposed right into 4200. You will get 95-99% -1 or so snipes. This lets you hop out anytime you want and still advance in cups.
