Before you read the below please note that I'm suggesting that only CANNONS do 2x damage on Golems not all defenses, and certainly not to lower Golem HP..

I'm a nearly maxed out TH9 (except for walls and wiz towers) and I struggle with Golem Wizard Witch Pekka (or any other combinations) attacks; Simply TH9 doesn't have enough DPS to take down 2 max golems. my base and other TH9s on my clan get 3 starred by TH10 with max golems so easy it looks as if its game breaking.
While golems are ideal for tanking and are only used for that since their DPS is minimal; an idea to balance that is to make a defensive building deal double damage on Golems, like Canons their range isn't very big and its intuitive as cannons fire metal balls and golems are made of stone.
Please consider this idea as an attack in war using GoWiPe and its variations by a TH10 on a TH9 is an automatic 3 stars and i dont feel it requires much skill in deploying and paving a way for the troops; its simply DPS and tank-ability.

My issue is like the giant bomb does 1.5x damage to hogs, and tesla towers does 2x damage on pekka. It has been made only this way since hogs can overcome walls as their main "special power" pekka got their super high damage and ineffectiveness of traps as their "super power". Because of those obvious advantages they got a weakness to a certain type of defense
while Golems got a TON of HP and survive-ability (split after death) they must also bear a weakness to something otherwise its unbalanced.

The attacks are usually over with one golem still intact, simply delivering 6300 damage points will take 2 lvl 3 x bows doing a total of 150 DPS (assuming within range of both) will take 42 seconds assuming they remain un-destroyed add to that maybe 150 more DPS for 10 seconds (as I'm assuming that's the time it would take to take down 1st tier tower and cannon that are in range, i think i'm being generous here) that would make the total time required to take down ONE golem at 32 seconds and 64 seconds assuming both x bows are still intact which is highly unlikely.
NB: Maybe the calculations are off but i'm sure they draw a better picture
Tho for the sake of the argument if my defenses take about one minute to take down 2 golems (not accounting for the smaller 4 golems) during that minute how much DPS can 15 wizards and 2 pekkas unleash? knowing that all the aggro is absorbed by the golems.
